I visited La Giara in Fontanelle and had a truly excellent experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for a relaxing evening. The dishes are prepared with great care: fresh ingredients, balanced portions, and truly harmonious flavors. Special thanks go to Marco, the waiter who looked after us throughout the evening. Professional, kind, and always attentive without ever being intrusive. He was able to recommend the best dishes and made the experience even more enjoyable. Sincere compliments! Highly recommended: I will definitely be back.

The pizza was good, except it was very watery. The dough almost tasted fried from the amount of oil, but it was good. We felt sick the next day, but that doesn't necessarily mean the pizza was to blame. The place is nice, but it's very small, which means you're not guaranteed to be seated for the time you booked. It was also stressful because of the cockroaches, but that's a common problem. It's not great that, being on the sidewalk, people pass by and wander around on their way to the bar and so on. I think the layout needs improving. The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately they had trouble managing the tables. All in all, even if it wasn't the best, I think we'll have to come back to confirm or deny it.

A friend of ours recommended this place to us, and I have to say we were completely satisfied! Delicious pizza, friendly and super helpful staff! We even got to meet the owner, and he's a truly fantastic guy! Excellent value for money!

A delightful discovery. We found it by chance after an evening visit to the Valley of the Temples. While browsing for a restaurant on the way home, we were drawn to the photos of this place's pizzas. Our expectations were fully met. The pizza was large and of high quality, both in terms of the dough and the toppings. The staff was courteous and attentive, and the bill was spotless. I recommend it!

As usual in Agrigento, it's all smoke and mirrors. They line up to sit down, and everyone follows like sheep. The pizza is decent, but nothing exceptional enough to queue for hours. The staff is courteous, and the service is fast. But you can't call a portion of fries with two pans and two mozzarella sticks a mixed fry, and when I write "two," it really was two.

13/09/2025: A culinary stroke of luck in the alleys of Licata By a stroke of luck, our search for a good restaurant in the winding alleys of Licata led us to Pepe and Chiara's. We almost didn't get in, as there was a slight misunderstanding with the charming chef, Pepe, at the door – fortunately, everything was quickly and cordially resolved. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a maximum of 20 seats and a lovingly decorated atmosphere that perfectly matches Pepe's creative cuisine. Chiara welcomes guests with a warm, pleasant manner, which further enriches the visit. You can choose between a 4- or 6-course menu – we opted for the 4-course menu, accompanied by an excellent red Syrah. The wine selection is excellent and pairs wonderfully with the dishes. The prices may be high, but the quality and professionalism are well worth it. In the end, we were completely satisfied.

22/09/2025: A quiet Sicilian Massaria from the early 1900s, nestled in the Agrigento countryside, in an excellent location, just 10 minutes from Sambuca di Sicilia. Have lunch on a late summer Sunday, under a portico, in the cool breeze wafting the scent of rosemary, surrounded by the courtesy and kindness of the owners, who make you feel at home, and pampered by the staff, who bring you the various dishes with kindness and professionalism and explain them to you. We had the set menu for lunch, from the appetizer to the liqueur, everything was excellent and beautifully prepared. Excellent value for money. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend time talking, relaxing, and... I almost forgot to eat.
