When you pass through Cassino, stop by and eat at Dar Patata. He may seem a little gruff, but once he gets to know you a little, he'll give you his Roman heart and make you eat delicious Roman food. We'll be back.

Patrizio, aka Er Patata, is a spectacular host! His laugh is contagious, but above all, the food is excellent. We took a short detour off the highway heading towards Puglia, and we couldn't have made a better choice! I recommend it to everyone!

A typical Roman fraschetta, very welcoming. We had a full appetizer (four people could easily eat there) and then went on to the first and second courses. The carbonara was very good, and I would have liked to try the Gricia too. €150 for four, including three beers, two waters, and desserts—not cheap, honestly. Special praise to the host, who was very friendly.

Food and service was amazing, really helpful English speaking staff who were happy to help with dietary requirements, lovely atmosphere, and well priced! Would love to go back and try more of the menu!
