La Francescana In Roma

Typical Roman restaurant, not touristy, we ate Roman artichokes… a delicacy, tortellini, brodo and vegetable soup. Dessert was panna cota with red fruits… exquisite, simple, authentic!

In the Prati area, homemade food, safe atmosphere camouflaged like in my neighborhood. The Franchescana is a must! Convenient prices and very good quality product💪🏻

This areas has a lot of wonderful restaurants. We looked for a restaurant with traditional Roman pasta dishes and pizza! It took less than 10 minutes to seat our party of 6. At first, the waitress seemed upset with what we ordered and for asking "How do you say." The food took a while, but with the first bite, it is clear why it took awhile, everything was fresh. The Carbarnora was perfect not to eggy tasting. The salmon pasta was excellently made. The Gricia was a beautiful blend of flavor. Much like Carbarnora but with no egg and served over aldente pasta. The house dish of Fettuccine alla Francescana with peas, pork cheek, mushrooms, and cream sauce was a delightful surprise. It made the other amazing pasta dishes at the table seem almost normal compared to this perfect dish. The pizza was also very good. Traditional Roman style thin crust lite on the cheese and sauce. The service was excellent. They were attentive throughout our meal. We walked out with full stomachs a biscotti in hand and smiling.

We always ate well. They are very fast and friendly.

WE WERE INVITED TO THIS PLACE FOR A BIRTHDAY AND I MUST SAY THAT WE WERE VERY HAPPY AND EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. TO MAKE MY BROTHER HAPPY WHO IS A VERY PUNCTICULOUS GUY I SAID EVERYTHING COMPLIMENTS TO THE COOK

Great traditional restaurant. They had probably one of the best tiramisu I've had in Rome . So good I ordered second.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante a dicembre 24, cucina tipica romana. Cucina buona e semplice. Servizio veloce. Personale gentile.

Sinceramente e senza offesa, ho mangiato di meglio ed ho speso anche meno, in posti non lontano da lì. A volte si va a vela con "vecchi successi".
