Historic pastry shop in the Foce area of ​​Sanremo. Very cute and well-kept place, lots of quality products. When we come to the beach, breakfast here or the brioches to go are a must! 😁 Lots of different brioches and biscuits, the krapfen are amazing! The coffee is excellent too!

We stopped at this pastry shop on our way back from Sanremo, with rather mixed feelings. On the one hand, the lemon meringue tarts were truly excellent: well-balanced, flavorful, nothing to complain about. The shortbread cookies were also decent. On the other hand, we were very disappointed with the pastries: the croissants and the pain au chocolat were clearly stale, probably several days old. At this level, it's frankly unacceptable for a pastry shop. The bill came to €20 for 2 lemon tarts, 1 apple tart, 2 shortbread cookies, 2 croissants, and 1 pain au chocolat. It's not cheap, and we therefore expect impeccable quality, especially with such basic products. 👉 In short: Very good ingredients in some pastries, but a major problem with the freshness of the viennoiseries, which spoils the experience.
