Sicily on the plate revisited. All the aromas and flavors in the name of tradition, but the sight starting from the plate makes you go somewhere else. Everything but really everything very good, beautiful place and excellent service. It's like dining at a starred restaurant for the care that is put into the plate and also in the service. The chef is also the guys very empathetic. It was not our first time and we will return.

A Macherio ci devi andare per forza, e dopo tutto sei a mezz'ora da Milano e ne vale la pena. Il ristorante è all'inizio del paese in una zona tranquilla, ricavato con gusto e passione da una vecchia filanda. L'accoglienza è professionale ma cordiale. Ampia sala da pranzo con travi al soffitto, tavoli distanziati, ben apparecchiati. Da visitare la cantina con un'esposizione interessante di vini e ambiente per degustazione Il menu è decisamente siciliano con piatti tipici. Spesso nei ristoranti si legge "piatto rivisitato", ma qui in vece si sente che i piatti sono cucinati in stretta osservanza della migliore cucina "della nonna", magari presentati in maniera più moderna. Dopo piacevoli amuse bouche gli antipasti sono di perfetta esecuzione ed i primi non sono da meno, sia le paste che i risotti. Ottimi i dolci. Con due calici di vino, un servizio perfetto si spendono 160 Eur in due: più che ben spesi e meritati.
