Gran Caffè La Fenice is a nice place to enjoy both sweet and savory dishes. Returned to this place after a few years to find different but kind staff with excellent krapfen and cappuccino. Honestly there is something to improve among some employees who do not communicate with each other. A little more attention to the room which needs to be looked after more. Anyway, we'll be back. Well organized place for both the cafeteria and the pastry and savory dishes. Lots of choice for all tastes. Fairly fast service at the counter and at the tables. Available sale of cigarettes and similar. Courteous and professional staff. Great for viewing sporting events. Some difficulty parking during rush hour.

26/02/2025: For me now a point of reference since I am celiac and lactose intolerant. The girls are very kind, in fact always willing to let you try something new gluten-free that they prepare on the spot or just to try and then choose. It's not for everyone, actually. Fresh weekend pastries, which always dry out. Always excellent.

La Paranza Ristorante

09/04/2025: Recently renovated building in the historic center of Taranto. The renovation of the structure is beautiful, which also houses rooms in addition to the restaurant on the ground floor facing the sea. Friendly staff available to satisfy customer requests. Good cuisine based on seafood dishes, some more typical, others a little revisited but with taste. The only thing that I didn't like was the choice of long pasta for the first courses which, instead of being made from durum wheat, was fresh and unfortunately turned out to be a little rubbery. We would have preferred it to be more al dente but the flavors were very good. Anyway, worth trying again!
