I went to Dogana with the whole family. The nettle rice and the meat are excellent. The owner and his entire family do their utmost to make customers feel good.

5/11/2024 - To start, 2 tomato bruschettas. For the second course, grilled lamb with a side of homemade fried potatoes. Drink a quarter of red. At the end of the meal, a nocino, 2 biscuits and a coffee. Fair prices and friendly owners. I was satisfied and will return to try the nettle risotto. It's worth 👍

What can I say. An unexpected discovery, like taking a dive into the past. Having eaten in this place has turned into one of the best memories made in Val D'Orcia. The welcome was nothing short of exceptional, you can see that they put their heart into this restaurant.

During the weekend spent in Proceno I took the opportunity to return to the La Dogana restaurant in Centeno. I have been missing since 2020 and I must say that I found the quality of the dishes and the service always excellent. Friendly and professional environment and staff. The tagliatelle and the nettle risotto are as delicious as I remembered them. Excellent value for money. I will be in those parts for work or for the weekend and the La Dogana restaurant will be a stop I will gladly make again.

20/01/2025: Delicious dishes with a mix of tradition and modernity. Passionate owner and expert in his work and his territory. Added to this is an innate friendliness and an ability to entertain and involve guests without appearing intrusive.
12/01/2025: Very positive experience. The first telephone contact had already left me with an impression of friendliness and courtesy which was amply confirmed in person. I will not dwell on the dishes so well represented on the pages of important culinary guides. The flavors are those of the local tradition refined in their excellence, excellently presented by the attentive, prepared and courteous staff. Having entered for a simple tasting, I gave in to broaden our experience with the excellent dishes and desserts offered by Felice and his staff. Well done!!!!!! I'll be back soon.
