5/11/2024 - To start, 2 tomato bruschettas. For the second course, grilled lamb with a side of homemade fried potatoes. Drink a quarter of red. At the end of the meal, a nocino, 2 biscuits and a coffee. Fair prices and friendly owners. I was satisfied and will return to try the nettle risotto. It's worth 👍

What can I say. An unexpected discovery, like taking a dive into the past. Having eaten in this place has turned into one of the best memories made in Val D'Orcia. The welcome was nothing short of exceptional, you can see that they put their heart into this restaurant.

During the weekend spent in Proceno I took the opportunity to return to the La Dogana restaurant in Centeno. I have been missing since 2020 and I must say that I found the quality of the dishes and the service always excellent. Friendly and professional environment and staff. The tagliatelle and the nettle risotto are as delicious as I remembered them. Excellent value for money. I will be in those parts for work or for the weekend and the La Dogana restaurant will be a stop I will gladly make again.

Very pleasant evening in a nice and very quiet environment. We dined outdoors. Courtesy and friendliness of the owners. Despite being Florentine, I have hardly found a steak so tender and good. I also really liked the nettle risotto, delicate and creamy. Excellent cured meats. A curiosity: in front of the restaurant there is a sign that tells of the exile made in that place by Galileo Galilei.

03/01/2025: Beautiful restaurant with all delicious dishes... the caramelized onion delicious! Delicious cuts! Good choice of wines. We didn't try the burgers but, seen at the table in front, they looked very good. I forgot: the meat tartare with egg yolk is fantastic! Well done, keep it up.
29/12/2024: Special dinner in an elegant and evocative environment, as part of the restaurant is in an ancient cave. The culinary offerings are good and the wine list offers decent options. Must try.
