The food was good and average. I would have liked a regular coffee, especially since how do you choose a coffee you don't know? And on top of that, €4 for a coffee, with portions worthy of a fine-dining restaurant in a trattoria!

I will give this place 4 stars for the food not because it was not good , just because I have been fortunate enough to eat some really good pieces of beef and game. Again. Overall the food was very nice, I really enjoyed the cheeses etc. I just felt that with all the hype, dry ageing rooms, meat displays etc I was in for a carnivorous treat. I will return for another meal. Definitely on my places to eat list .

Cozy place with plenty of tables. Excellent cured meats and cheeses, not to mention the trio of tender, flavorful slow-cooked meats. For starters, I had the (giant) ricotta and spinach ravioli with red and yellow cherry tomatoes 🤤. The waitress who served us was...TOP!!!

The place really needs a name change: calling itself a trattoria creates a completely different expectation than what you actually get. The portions aren't trattoria-like, nor are the prices, and just the exterior gives the illusion of entering a simple, down-to-earth place. The food is certainly good, well-cooked, and of high quality, but the prices are significantly higher than average, especially considering the quantities served. The worst thing, however, is the coffee: €4 for a nearly undrinkable coffee is truly shocking. In many places, it's even free, but here they serve it to you in a spectacular mug... only to find out when you're checking out that they didn't even sell you the cup! What I find unacceptable is the lack of clarity and lack of customer service. In a place that calls itself a "trattoria," if I ask for coffee, I expect a normal product and a normal price: it would have been enough to let you know in advance that it was a special coffee and that it cost €4. When I pointed out that the price was excessive, I was told that "they usually bring the menu to be transparent." It's a shame that this wasn't done with us. And despite the report, no action, no attention: total disregard for the customer. And this is precisely the main reason why I wouldn't return or recommend it: not for the food, but for the lack of clarity and care toward those who enter.

Amazing experience! Not the typical local trattoria, but more like a modern one, serving many kinds of italian food, all with excellent quality. We enjoyed every single one of the dishes we ordered.

One of my favorite restaurants in Rome and the surrounding area. The restaurant business today has become all about chasing profits, ignoring the most important thing: passion and the quality of what's served to the customer. The pantry respects both of these prerogatives, which are fundamental to me. All the products served are top-quality, respectful of the supply chain, meaning direct contact with the producer (something extremely difficult to find; nowadays we rely primarily on large-scale distribution, thus favoring an uncontrolled, mass-produced product). Here, from the oil used to serve the meat to the cheese grated over a first course, we find artisanal products. The added value of the trattoria is undoubtedly the grill. The 4-5 cuts offered are meats sourced directly from the farm that processes the animals, so they're free of antibiotics or other junk that large-scale retailers have. The wine, beer, and sparkling wine lists are the same. Superlatives! The atmosphere is spacious, with attention to detail, elegant yet authentic, as the restaurant's name suggests, making you feel at home. They recently added pizza, but have set aside a separate corner within the restaurant where you can only enjoy fried pizza and other delicacies other than the restaurant menu. The same goes for the restaurant. Specially leavened dough and top-quality ingredients (for example, their capricciosa with Nebrodi black ham, fried egg, and Jewish-style artichokes on a bed of mozzarella from a local dairy). I will always return to you; you deserve it; you are food and wine professionals.

Food that's fully in keeping with Roman tradition! Well done, well done, well done! Super special coffee, but a bit pricey considering it's not accompanied by anything delicious. The service was slow even though we arrived at 2:45 PM. We were served after an hour. Maybe it was because it was Sunday, a busy day. We'll be back during the week to enjoy excellent food without the long service.
