Recommended by our hotel, we went two nights in a row. Lovely menu, fresh ingredients (you can choose your fish), well-prepared. Good wine list, especially Sicilian wines, at all price points. Fast and efficient service.

I think it's truly one of the best restaurants I've ever had in Syracuse! The fish is incredibly fresh and well-prepared! The service is impeccable and the place is very welcoming!

Amazing fresh fish choices with a great display which you can pick your favorite from. Very polite and professional staff. Kids friendly. We will be back soon.

We were staying at the B&B next door when I tripped over a step & couldn’t walk to the restaurant we reserved. So we went next door without a reservation and were 45 minutes earlier than the opening of the restaurant. They graciously accommodated us with ice & a chair and served us wine until the opening. The meal of pasta and sea urchin was delicious and the fresh red snapper and amber jack was outstanding with tomato sauce was outstanding! Ayoub our waiter was outstanding! I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

Delicious pasta and fish. Loved everything. Staff were excellent, especially Ayoub. They helped choose the fresh fish and the appropriate preparation. Overall one of the best meals we had in Ortigia.

03/12/2023: Friendly waiter, spoke English Cave ambiance, music in the background jumped around from 70’s rock to 90’s grunge with a bit of soft jazz, 80’s pop, etc. I had the tomato salad with local cheese, Wife had a mixed salad. She had Turbot cooked in a bag with fruits of the sea, I had Sea Bream with potato puree flavored with lime and saffron & a shrimp. Couldn’t taste the lime, otherwise all was ok. Had some local white wine, and a sherry like dessert wine; decent though not special. Portions small – both secundi’s. Probably designed with antipasta & primi’s in mind. Almost all seafood!

13/12/2025: A well-maintained seafood restaurant, excellent hospitality, and good service. The dishes were a bit poor, but some were excellent. Of the 10 different dishes we ordered, 5 were good, 3 were decent, and 2 needed revisiting.
