Sea view, good food but small portions with higher than normal prices

Yesterday we celebrated my niece's baptism in this beautiful restaurant. Very welcoming, clean environment, friendly staff and absolutely perfect owners, kind and helpful. Since I don't eat fish, I expected to eat badly (as usually happens when I find myself in restaurants where the cuisine is mainly based on fish), but instead I ate decidedly well. An Italian appetizer with high-quality cured meats, two exceptional first courses, paccheri alla norma and casarecce with pistachio pesto (excellent quality) and bacon, a grilled fillet cooked to perfection with a side of baked potatoes, very tasty. A special mention goes to the paccheri alla norma, definitely fantastic, an enveloping sauce, aubergines that melted in the mouth and a gem, a crunchy note that I don't want to spoil so as not to take away the surprise when you eat it. I left the plates very clean, it would have been a sacrilege to leave anything. I can assure you that the rest of the guests, who ate fish, also literally polished off their plates thoroughly. Portions were appropriate, not to say abundant. Absolutely fresh and excellent quality products, excellent value for money. So if you want to have a good lunch or a good dinner or maybe celebrate an anniversary, go to this restaurant and you will not regret it, indeed you will be looking forward to returning.

We went with a large group of about 70 people for dinner, and I must say it was a complete mess: dishes served out of time, food before drinks, some of them cold, and the waiters, few and far between, were like headless chickens. This made it a bad experience. I think if they're not capable of providing good service, they shouldn't allow these types of groups. However, I must highlight one dish that was truly delicious: calamarata with pistachios and sausage, which I would say is the best thing I tried during my entire stay in Sicily.

Come anche in passato cenare in questo ristorante dopo avere assistito al Teatro Antico la tragedia Elettra è stato molto piacevole

Piccola trattoria marinare situare all’ingresso di origina, ove é possibile accomodarsi nella sala interna oppure in alternativa all’esterno nel dehors. La trattoria in commento offre piatti semplici ma ben fatti per lo più a base di pesce, c’é la possibilità di scegliere il pesce fresco direttamente dal banco Unica pecca il servizio un po’ lento ed i tempi di attesa tra una portata e l’altra Abbiamo scelto una porzione di peccheri con scampi e pomodorini anche se in realtà erano mezzi paccheri piccolo dettaglio, un discreto calamaro arrosto con verdure grigliate , una cernia scelta al banco del pesce, con pomodorini cipolla e capperi molto buone, un insalate di arance e cipolla rossa. Carta dei vini non visionata non avendo voglia di bere dopo il cenone di capodanno Prezzi tutto sommato in linea con la qualità proposta
