LA DARSENA In Castellammare del golfo

Often, on our way to the beach in front of the restaurant, we stopped here for lunch. Most of the time, however, we were told that the kitchen only opened at 1:00 PM, which seemed a bit absurd considering that many tourists and customers start lunch much earlier. For this reason, on several occasions we preferred to go elsewhere. Once, however, we managed to stop and have lunch: the food was good, with fairly generous portions, but the prices were a bit higher than average—all in all, nothing special. When paying, we immediately pointed out that we could only pay by card, but were told the POS wasn't working 😂 and we noticed a bit of hassle from the staff. We were therefore forced to go to the other restaurant (still under the same management but separate) to pay. An unpleasant situation, considering that it's not at all a given that everyone has cash on them. The place is nice and the view is truly beautiful, but it's a shame about the service, which leaves much to be desired.

Lovely welcoming service, great food and coffee. Right on the beachfront and one of few with few places with outdoor seating. Can definitely recommend.

Bar located right on the beach ⛱️ nice arrangement of tables in the shade, this morning I limited myself to coffee and croissant, sparkling mineral water, all good quality, kind girls at the counter.

We had the sea food platter for 2 and it was excellent and a lot. As we were the only guests on an off-season Monday, the waiter's attention was all our's, including free Limonchellos.

Abbiamo mangiato in questo posto molto carino e accogliente con personale simpatico. Abbiamo preso la busiata allo scoglio e posso dire di non aver mai mangiato una pasta allo scoglio così buona.

The couscous di pesce is beautiful defiantly recommend
