I had the pleasure of dining at the La Cullera restaurant in Alghero and the experience was very positive. The restaurant has an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a romantic dinner with your boyfriend. The menu offers a variety of local cuisine, with particular attention to the freshness and origin of the ingredients.
The service was attentive and professional: the staff was able to advise us competently, guiding us through the various options. We tried the seafood risotto and the mixed fry, both expertly prepared and very tasty.
In conclusion, it is worth a visit for those who are in Alghero and are looking for a quality culinary experience. Definitely a place I will gladly return to.

A special lunch in the heart of Alghero!
The menu at La Cullera tells the story of Sardinia not only through the most traditional recipes, created to perfection (such as culurgiones and seadas), but also thanks to innovative flavours, obtained with first choice ingredients.
The passion and dedication of Mr. Amedeo, the owner, shines through in every gesture with which he takes care of the guests and in every word spent to describe the dishes.
The fresh pasta and desserts, prepared at home by his wife, deserve a special mention: the flavors are authentic, rich and tell the story of the territory and its history.
In short, this restaurant is an obligatory stop for lovers of good food!

Fantastic.
We ordered a primo, secundo and dolche (a pasta dish, the fish of the day, and a tirumasu) to share. Before the meal, they brought us bread with homemade butter with two pieces of anchovies. The bread was perfect, so soft on the inside with a crunchy crust. The butter was light and airy, and the anchovies were fresh. Both dishes were cooked perfectly. The pasta was a perfect al dente and the fish was served with a lovely lemony sauce and tasty greens. The tiramisu was one of the best that we have ever had in Italy.
While we were enjoying our tiramisu, Madau (I think* was his name) brought us two different types of house made digestivo. The first was similar to a limoncello but, I think, made with blood orange. The second, in the photo, was made from fennel that he gathered himself.
I cannot express how much we enjoyed the food and the service. Roberto, our server, was so nice and shared photos with us of his friend who was traveling in our home country.
If you have the time, please eat here. It is worth every bite!

Absolutely fantastic. The owners and the staff are welcoming and fun. The food was delicious. We loved how they aren’t afraid of a lot of garlic or tomatoes. Treat yourself to the local pastas and fish. The desserts were mostly savory cheese dishes. I highly recommend you try them.

Excellent restaurant housed in the classic vaulted rooms of the historic center of Alghero. Inside, with great attention to detail, it also features tables in front of the open kitchen, where you can witness the birth of a poem, as the professionalism and harmony between the chefs and the crew allows you to witness a harmonious concert.
Roberto manages the restaurant with exquisite friendliness and professionalism, he will guide you through the constantly evolving menu.
The search for new fresh ingredients and the refinement of the dishes starts from the appetizers, which represent the specialty of the restaurant. The mixed appetizers are highly recommended and will allow you to range between different flavors in a carousel of ever new colors and aromas. The serving dishes are always well cared for and original. The pasta preparations are excellent and the rice with tuna tartare, courgette and peach cream is wonderful.
The fresh fish dishes are superb, the sauces are refined from fruit to vegetables which in Sardinia are always fresh and fragrant all year round.
The fried foods are perfect, crunchy and dry, and contain all the flavor of fresh products.
For land lovers, mamma's culurgiones and ravioli will be a surprise.
Roberto's latest innovations are the melting pot for grilled cooking and very folkloristic preparations expressed at the table.
To accompany the excellently plated dishes, there is an excellent wine list, which highlights Sardinian excellence and international vines.

Abbiamo scelto questo locale per una cena tra due coppie di amici, lasciandoci ispirare dalle foto delle recensioni.
Una piacevole sorpresa.
La qualità dei piatti era molto alta, abbinamenti particolari ed elaborati, consona al prezzo. Forse si può aumentare un pochino la porzione dei primi piatti.
Aggiungo anche servizio ottimo, dai camerieri al ragazzo che credo fosse il titolare.

Meraviglioso. Abbiamo scelto il posto per il menù scritto sulla bottiglia. Ci ha colpito al cuore e ci è rimasto in mente, cosi siamo tornati dopo averlo incontrato per caso. Abbiamo mangiato entrambi antipasto e secondo, buonissimi e super abbondanti. Un servizio eccellente, curatissimo. Siamo stati veramente grati e felici di avervi incontrato, ci siamo davvero sentiti PIÙ che a casa.
