Location overlooking the lake, beautiful by day, marvelous by night. Informal dining with friendly, approachable, yet professional and knowledgeable staff (and owner). Food is top-notch. Recommended.

We went for lunch today, we ate deliciously, and Mr. Fabio put us in a great mood. The view was spectacular.

We're back for the second time and will be back again... The owner is a true host. Despite the temporary lack of a waiter and the full house, he managed to create a harmonious and playful atmosphere, even connecting with other diners. My compliments... Next time, I'll return in the evening to experience a different atmosphere. Generous portions and excellent preparation. RECOMMENDED

A wonderful and delicious experience. The staff is friendly and we ate on the lakeside lookout, which was very romantic as night fell. Beautiful location and excellent food. It's a shame the space is a little cramped, but it's fine.

Yesterday, three of us went to lunch at this small restaurant located in an alley in the historic center of Castelgandolfo. There are at least twenty other restaurants in the immediate vicinity, with prices and quality fairly similar; only the menus and the focus on Roman cuisine vary. The reason we chose La Cruna was the small terrace with a wonderful, truly breathtaking view of Lake Albano. It's worth noting that we were the only Italian-speaking customers at the time... The menu isn't particularly extensive, but the dishes are authentic and well-prepared. I enjoyed the trofie with garlic, oil, and chili pepper, with eggplant cream and grated ricotta. I also recommend the cheesecake, which was truly beautifully prepared and served. The table service is "poor," with just one young waitress, but she's very kind, helpful, and able to communicate in English with tourists. The prices aren't exactly competitive, but they're essentially fair. Conclusion: the highlight is definitely the panoramic view from the terrace.

🍝 Excellent food, generous and beautifully presented dishes, with careful attention to detail in the ingredients—the photos speak for themselves! 🪡 We went to Cruna del Lago on Sunday, July 13, the first Sunday of the Pope's return, and it was rainy despite it being mid-July. 🍴 This is to say that despite the unexpected events, from the dining room to the kitchen, they handled the situation very well, with reasonable wait times and without losing their smile. 📱 The place is limited, so reservations are highly recommended! 👏🏻 We'll definitely be back!

Ristorante piccolo, ma caratteristico con terrazzo vista lago. Cucina tipica, saporita, con piatti della tradizione. Proprietario simpatico e cortese. Buono rapporto qualità prezzo.

Iniziamo dai punti di forza; posizione bellissima con un piccolo dehors affacciato sul lago, personale gentilissimo e sempre presente, prezzi buoni. Passando alle note dolenti i piatti seppur molto semplici mancano di grinta risultando piuttosto banali ed insapori. Peccato.
