La Corte degli Ulivi In Ortelle

I went there for lunch on the recommendation of friends "to eat well-cooked porcini mushrooms." I've never had such PERFECT porcini mushrooms. Everything was excellent. Both the food and the wine (recommended by the guy who looked after us throughout the meal). The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable, respectful of our lunch times, and never intrusive. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes I'd glimpsed from neighbors' plates (everything looked delicious). The location was also very beautiful: clean, bright, and overlooking the courtyard with olive trees and antique troughs housing beautiful and well-kept succulents. Everything was very peaceful. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

We had lunch featuring fresh porcini mushrooms. The quality and freshness of the mushrooms were outstanding. From the "simple" porcini carpaccio to more elaborate dishes like porcini mushrooms covered in kataifi. The waiter was extremely attentive to our needs and precise in his suggestions. An excellent location for a tasty, high-quality meal.

I'll start by saying that I live in Bali and when I return to Italy I look for the flavors of home and I'm very picky. I travel around Italy from north to south, including the islands. I've been in Puglia for a few days and, in the company of a friend, I visited Corte degli Ulivi. I met Rocco, the owner, who welcomed me with an impromptu aperitif, based on my request, of prosecco and amazing fried foods! From there, I should have known that the dinner would exceed my expectations. But Rocco and the staff knew how to surprise me! They served me a plate of raw fish worthy of a bow, accompanied by a prestigious wine and then surprised me with a dessert I was unfamiliar with called "spumone"! Believe me, it was a dinner worthy of an A+. The service, location, courtesy, professionalism were the backdrop to this perfectly plated and excellent quality food. You're wondering how much it cost? Incredible value for money. If there were more stars to give this review, they would never be enough! I thank Rocco for giving me this magnificent experience.

A cozy, meticulously maintained restaurant with a beautiful internal garden where you can dine under the olive trees. Delicious dishes, made with quality ingredients and the freshest fish. Friendly and attentive service. Compliments to the chef and the wait staff. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

The food is good, maybe a little expensive

Beautiful location, an evening invited by dear friends from Salento. I enjoyed every course, particularly the appetizers, which in my opinion were an excellent reinterpretation of classic Salento dishes.
