A good restaurant run in a simple and friendly way: you immediately feel at ease. The service is fast and attentive. Traditional dishes of Mantua cuisine very well made, well prepared and tasty. The capunsei and tortelli Mantovani are excellent. Convenient price even taking into account the quality of the dishes.

We went to this restaurant with a group of friends from various cities in the North (Milan, Brescia, Padua and Bologna) just yesterday for lunch, and it was all very satisfying. Very "down to earth" location and you are treated like a housewife in the most positive sense of the term: excellent and plentiful food, accurate and attentive service, and an extremely kind owner. Compliments!!! Furthermore, the small village of Castellaro Lagusello is decidedly cute.

Unfortunately our experience was not the best. Since our accommodation is near Castellaro Lagusello, we decide to try this restaurant. In the late morning of the same day I call the restaurant to book a table. Once the evening arrives and certain of our reservation, we go to the restaurant. As soon as we entered the owner informed us that the place was full, I replied that however we had a reservation. Even though we had booked, he insisted that the place was full and that he didn't care about the reservation. Subsequently the owner asked us under what name we had booked, but the name was not present in the reservation list, implying that we had called another restaurant. On the other hand, I show the call from the same day. In the end, after having insisted for a long time on my reservation and on the fact that he hadn't written down the name, the owner began by saying that there were tables and that finding it would have been the lesser evil. Confused, I then asked him if he had any tables: well, there was another empty room in which he made us sit. To apologize, the owner brought us a welcome drink, thus acknowledging the mistake. As for dinner, the food was quite good. It was not a pleasant experience.

Arrived by bike (muscle) at 12 for a Sunday lunch without reservation. Impeccable service (young, smiling, polite and prepared staff) complete with a free entrée and batteries on your legs given the temperature. Spectacular pergola, bicycles let in at our side. Eaten well and spent the right amount. Highly recommended.

dopo un giro in Vespa ci siamo fermati in questo posto conosciuto per caso lo scorso anno ed è stata anche questa volta un' esperienza molto piacevole. Ambiente semplice tranquillo, pulito e cucina ottima.
