La Colomba In Monzambano

Traditional cuisine. Attentive and courteous staff. Recommended.

We actually visited La Colomba several times during our vacation. We were so impressed by the service from Davide and his family. Even when I was bitten several times by mosquitoes, he brought me a tonic without asking. We've never experienced anything like it before. The food was fresh and delicious. There was something for every taste. It was simply fantastic. Thank you.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to

Rustic trattoria – authentic & lovingly run A real insider tip in a picturesque borgo atmosphere: The pasta – homemade by Grandma – is simply sensational: Bigoli con Sarde (thick spaghetti with anchovies and capers) or gnocchi with burrata are a real delight. The meat (especially the rabbit!) and seafood from the open grill are equally impressive. The ambiance is authentic with an atmospheric wisteria terrace, while the interior exudes a rustic, family-friendly Italian flair. The service is warm, and the prices are extremely fair. A pure feel-good experience. Be sure to make a reservation, especially in summer! A warning, though: If you're looking for sophisticated gourmet fare or are picky about your bread, this is the wrong place – but you'll find soul on the plate and a genuine smile to go with it.

Unfortunately, the approach of the person who welcomed us was not the best.

This restaurant is right below the apartment where we were staying for the holidays. We went for dinner and both had gnocchi, one with gorgonzola and spinach and the other with red pesto and burrata. Simply delicious!

Good food and friendly service, welcoming atmosphere. The guy at the tables is very knowledgeable and knowledgeable. Just one thing: be careful about the order in which the tables arrive; the table setting could be improved. I recommend it if you're in the area.

Abbiamo cenato qui assaggiando piatti semplici ma gustoso, tipici dell zona. Ambiente familiare e molto cordiale. Bellissimo giardino con pergolato di glicine in cui cenare. Consigliato.

Trovata per caso durante un fine settimana con il mio compagno. Ottima accoglienza da parte di tutto il personale, propietari compresi. Cucina tradizionale molto buona e casareccia, cucinata benissimo, porzioni abbondanti. Prezzi buoni. Atmosfera piacevole. Tornati con parenti che sono rimasti pienamente soddisfatti.
