Found this restaurant by chance while visiting the beautiful village of Castellaro di Lagusello. Excellent in every way, from the service to the price...you can eat under a cool pergola even on the hottest days. Good selection on the menu... definitely worth returning! 👍👍💯💯😃😃

Unfortunately, our start at the restaurant wasn't entirely successful: • We found dead flies at the table. • There was a dead wasp/bee in the pepper mill. • The replaced mill had cobwebs on the grinding mechanism. • The dessert (tiramisu) was frozen – from a fourth-generation Italian family business, we would have expected it to be freshly prepared. However, we would like to highlight the positive aspects: The bread, the bruschetta, and the main courses were delicious, and we also enjoyed the ambiance.

We actually visited La Colomba several times during our vacation. We were so impressed by the service from Davide and his family. Even when I was bitten several times by mosquitoes, he brought me a tonic without asking. We've never experienced anything like it before. The food was fresh and delicious. There was something for every taste. It was simply fantastic. Thank you.

Abbiamo cenato qui assaggiando piatti semplici ma gustoso, tipici dell zona. Ambiente familiare e molto cordiale. Bellissimo giardino con pergolato di glicine in cui cenare. Consigliato.

07/10/2025: Artists of taste. They beautifully present traditional Sicilian dishes and products. Specialists in hospitality and very kind. You'll be pleasantly surprised upon entering this trattoria and will leave more than satisfied.
03/09/2025: Excellent lunch!! My husband and I went to this super cozy and traditional trattoria. We ate incredibly fresh fish, generous and delicious dishes. We will definitely be back.
