It's a very traditional trattoria. Homemade pasta, hand-made; cured meats and cheeses made in-house. Everything is plentiful and delicious.
Don't expect elaborate gourmet cuisine, but excellent quality at equally excellent prices.

The only place in Pianacce where you can eat. You could call it the village inn. The mother cooks. It serves typical Abruzzo food. There's no menu. The waiter tells you what's on offer. The portions are generous. The food is solid, home-cooked food made with good ingredients.

A family lunch with our two little monsters. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
The owners, very friendly, made us feel at ease right away, even involving the children.
The dishes, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, took us back, with every bite, to Sunday lunches at our grandmother's house: authentic flavors, generous portions, and a love of good food.
The Genziana was excellent, and the quality/price ratio was excellent.
An experience worth repeating and highly recommended!

About 10 minutes from the highway exit, in a location overlooking the hill, we ate the best arrosticini ever!! Excellent grilled meat and vegetables. The coffee was also excellent (which isn't always a given). Must try!

Exquisite and plentiful food, reasonable prices, and truly sensational first courses. Each dish is meticulously prepared and made with quality ingredients. It offers the best arrosticini I've ever had in all of Abruzzo.
I've been here several times and will never stop coming back.

I stopped for dinner with my family; there were not many people. The waiter was friendly and attentive, explaining the dishes. We had a cured meat appetizer with many locally sourced side dishes, frittatas, and pan-fried vegetables. The main course was a mixed meat dish, which was good and very generous, and some roasted meats with potatoes. Wine (so-so, water, and two Cokes). A top-quality family-produced Genziana. The food was good. The price was fair, even if a little low. Congratulations, we'll be back.

The place where we wanted to eat had unexpectedly closed. Looking for an alternative, we came across this restaurant. The owner was rather dismissive and left us alone. Then the cook/waitress came and escorted us into the restaurant and told us what she could offer us. We ordered various things, all of which were of high quality and very good. Finally, the owner warmed up and bought us a shot of schnapps. The ambiance could still be improved.
