Discovering La Cochera, a few steps from home, was a wonderful surprise! The atmosphere is welcoming, not at all chaotic, perfect for a relaxing and unhurried dinner. The waiting times are a little long, but only because the owners run the small restaurant in two, and the wait is worth every minute: every dish is prepared with great attention. We started with excellent Spanish cold cuts and a light and fluffy pinsa, made with rice flour and topped with chorizo, which was really tasty. Even the mixed paella, chosen by a diner, was rich in authentic flavours, as was the mixed grill and the creme brulee, perfect for a sweet ending. A highlight of the evening was the sangria, one of the best I have ever tasted, capable of transporting you to Spain with every sip. The quirky Spanish wine with the cute label added a special touch, and to finish we enjoyed some delicious Spanish bitters, including a spectacular honey rum and an aromatic herbal liqueur. The only small flaw was forgetting the spoon in the coffee, but it is a detail that does not detract from this authentic and quality experience. Highly recommended for those who want to immerse themselves in the flavors of Spain without leaving home!!

Menu with typical Spanish dishes. Well-made paella with plenty of freshly made fish, excellent sangria. Very friendly staff who put you at ease. Well spaced tables. Overall, if you want to have lunch with a bit of Spain, this is the right place. Fair prices compared to the quality.

Cena di sabato sera con amici. Preso paella di pesce e paella di carne oltre a una portata di tagliata di manzo. Entrambe buone le paelle, forse un po' troppo saporita quella di carne. Buona la carne. Buona anche la crema catalana presa come dolce. Locale piccolo ma molto tranquillo, è stata piacevole cenare proprio per la tranquillità che c'era. Prezzi nella media. Unica pecca la poco scelta dei dolci.

We will be back! We went on a Sunday for lunch to eat Spanish specialties; there was no one there and we enjoyed the peace and welcome of the owner. Truly typical appetizers and truly exquisite paella! All homemade and on the spot! We will definitely be back!
