By far the best restaurant in Florence. Chef Vittorio and his super friendly staff make you feel right at home. The quality, professionalism, and atmosphere are top-notch.

This was hands down one of THEE best meals we have ever had. My husband loves seafood and I dabble. I ordered the carpaccio (HAND sliced!!) appetizer and the wine risotto as my main dish and OH. MY. GOD. Every bite was as good as the first!! For both dishes!! I’ve acquired a taste for octopus though it’s still not my favorite. This one though was SO GOOD that I would gladly have it as a main! It was woodsy/grilled forward while still being incredibly tender. My husband LOVED the Segreto di chicca pasta with an addition of shrimp tartare. I forgot to take a foto of the desserts as I’d had quite a bit of wine but I do remember being extremely satisfied with that too!

La Chicca is one of the best restaurants I have visited in Florence. The dishes taste genuinely fresh and homemade—especially their pasta and seafood items. The environment is clean and comfortable, and the staff is very polite and attentive. You can really feel the warmth and hospitality here. If anyone is looking for quality food with great service, La Chicca is definitely worth a visit.

The fish was excellent and flavorful. The owner was courteous and helpful. I recommend the salted fish; it's very flavorful, and you can taste the quality. I wasn't crazy about the potatoes, but the grilled vegetables were good and not greasy. I appreciated that they served schiacciata instead of bread.

My husband and I booked La Chicca’s Market to table Sant'Ambrogio cooking class and had THE BEST day! Started with a coffee to plan the menu, a trip to the market, and back to the restaurant to learn and cook with Chef Vittorio. Napi made us feel so welcome. 100% recommend.

A refined and informal atmosphere, a beautiful wine cellar, and an open-view kitchen with a privileged view of the dining room. Excellent food, fresh, high-quality fish cooked simply but delicately.
