La Chatelaine - Pila In Gressan

The restaurant is in the middle of the slopes, offering magnificent views of the mountain and valley. Our tables were right on the mountain edge, offering the best scenery experienced at Gressan/Pila. The food quality was mixed. We ordered a Suppa d’Orzo (Barley Soup) which was just amazing. The kids ordered a baguette and pizza which were bland and they didn’t like. The service was also good, considering we went for lunch and this was a busy time of day and year.

This was our first morning drink stop during our ski trip to Pila. I really loved it here as the view is stunning. We had hot chocolates, which were delicious, and a very decent cup of tea! My ‘brew with an epic view’ will be a long standing memory of a great trip to Pila. Very friendly staff made this stop a favourite.
