La Certosa In Roma

I discovered this place with some friends one evening while we were looking for a pub/bar to relax and have a chat. Average place, neither too exaggerated nor too basic, friendly and joking staff, homely but pleasant, very reasonable prices, neighborhood-style, pleasant and characteristic place.

Excellent pasta with mussels and a pleasant atmosphere. I can only recommend

They raised the prices dramatically: Telline and venison 18 euros Spaghetti Prawns 20 euros. The food is good, of course, but you're still eating on plastic on the street, in a fairly dilapidated restaurant. I have always been a big fan of sincere places but they have gone to their heads with these prices. Now it costs like eating on the beach, only there is a bit of a difference... Too bad, I hope they reword it a bit.

Excellent cuisine, sky-high creative energy!

A place where time seems to have not passed. You eat in the street in a truly charming square. Spartan but lovely location, fresh and well cooked fish. Prices a little high compared to the service offered, years ago we spent much less.

We loved the atmosphere of this restaurant! We were here every day during our stay in Rome!

The quality of the fish is really excellent, the owners are kind and friendly. I will definitely return.

The rating is relatively low for food and service because at least personally I had technical problems: a cold dish from the cold room and a first course requested for loss of order. Overall, the place and the service are friendly, the neighborhood atmosphere is spartan and super enveloping, it feels like being in a small square at a local festival. The staff, despite the confusion of people and the hard work, is kind and present. The food is not bad but I would invite you to review something about the tastes (I'm not talking about dishes to upset but an exaltation of the raw materials would make the dishes tastier and less "flat" on the palate). I would go there a thousand more times given the calm and relaxing context and at this point to try other dishes and be amazed. Excellent for small tables and large companies.
