La Cava Di Giosi In Cammarata

Delicious dinner and a relaxing atmosphere. The terrace overlooking Cammarata is beautiful. I highly recommend it.

A family-friendly mid-August holiday in a very welcoming atmosphere with seafood-focused cuisine. It was a real surprise, almost a thousand meters above sea level beneath Mount Cammarata. We enjoyed a lunch of excellent dishes prepared with the freshest fish, pampered by attentive, unobtrusive service. Highly recommended.

We went to Cava di Giosi for a family lunch on August 13th. There were 14 of us for a set menu. The appetizer was plentiful and top-quality, made with fresh ingredients. Two excellent first courses (busiate with almonds, swordfish, burrata, cherry tomatoes, and seafood spaghetti) and two second courses of swordfish and sea bream gratinated. We were pampered from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The view is fantastic and worth the trip alone. A fantastic place with wonderful people and excellent food. Marked as a favorite to return next year!

Visiting this very nice restaurant was more of a coincidence. The driveway was very uphill and the last section is a gravel road. We thought it wouldn't be open..At the end of the road there is a very nice and clean restaurant with a unique and beautiful view. Outdoor seating is available. The food is very good, fresh and high quality. Friendly staff, everything is clean and tidy, cloth tablecloths and napkins. The food was a lot of fish and seafood. There was no problem at all in preparing a dish that wasn't on the menu (pasta with salsicca and mushrooms). The food was very good and tasty. You have to wait a bit for the food, but it's fine. Prices are pleasant and reasonable. The toilets are tidy and clean. Free parking right in front of the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit. Better to check the opening hours on the website. We will definitely be back.
