What can I say? For years, Zi Catarì has been a guarantee of quality ingredients, without skimping on quantity. The welcome prosecco is as good as the more renowned ones, and the dining room staff is welcoming, kind, and attentive. In short, a place where you can feel at home while eating well.

I celebrated a family event there, and everything was great. The fish appetizers were delicious, and the first courses were exceptional.

I went there for lunch with a 20% discount from The Fork.
Mussels with pepper, fusilli with clams, tuna with escarole, mixed fried fish, water, Coke, a glass of wine, coffee, limoncello, and a sorbet. €68
I have to say everything was really good. Typical Neapolitan cuisine. Now, I'm not saying it's exceptional, but it's really good, and considering the price, it's well above average value. Next time, I'll try the pizza!

An absolutely delightful discovery. Everything was excellent, from the raw ham to the fried calamari. Even the coffee deserves praise at this restaurant.

Excellent Neapolitan restaurant/pizzeria in Fiumicino.
The place is charming, clean, and welcoming, both inside and out (although I think the inside is better, as it has fewer tables and is therefore quieter and more private).
The staff is friendly, professional, smiling, and knowledgeable, and accommodates customer requests with patience and efficiency.
The dishes are very good, prepared according to Neapolitan tradition, and the portions are generous: here I tried the marinated fish carpaccio, the seafood risotto, and the broccoli rabe, all excellent (on another occasion I had tried the raw fish platter, which was excellent).
My father ordered the pizza (a buffalo mozzarella Margherita), which he said was delicious.
The desserts were also excellent, and all are made in-house: we ordered the ricotta and pear tart and the Neapolitan cannoli with cream and ricotta.
The prices, in my opinion, are fair, in line with the quality of the food.
Tonight, three of us spent about €35 each, including a good bottle of wine and tip (without the wine, we would have spent about €30 per person), considering that I ordered seafood and the other guests pizza and fried food.
Highly recommended.

We returned to this restaurant with great pleasure, even though it wasn't our first visit, and once again the experience was excellent. The food is high-quality, with attention to detail. The atmosphere is very welcoming, ideal for a pleasant evening in a relaxed atmosphere.
A special mention goes to Zoriana, a truly exceptional waitress. Kind, smiling, and attentive to our every need, she made us feel pampered from start to finish. Her professionalism, combined with her sweet nature, made the evening even more enjoyable.
We will definitely return again and recommend it without hesitation to anyone who wants to enjoy impeccable cuisine in a pleasant setting.

Wonderful Local Gem Near the Airport – Great for Families!
We stayed at an Airbnb close to the airport and found this spot through The Fork — great reviews and a solid value discount convinced us to give it a try. So glad we did!
The service was warm and welcoming. We navigated the Italian-to-English translations with Google Translate, and the lovely (and beautiful!) lady who served us was incredibly thoughtful — especially when it came to our kids' food allergies (eggs and nuts). She ensured everything was safe and even arranged a custom order of spaghetti with tomato sauce, paired with a delicious Bistecca ai Ferri (grilled steak). Our youngest said it was the best pasta he had in all of Italy!
Portions were generous, and everything we ordered was packed with flavor. The Friggitoria Napoletana was a fun and tasty starter — a mix of fried treats. I had the Scialatielli Zi Catarì, which was absolutely delicious and came recommended by the staff, who clearly know their menu. We also tried the gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and clams—such a unique and amazing combination. The steak was juicy and well-cooked, and two of our kids finished with classic panna cotta—the perfect ending.
This area seems to be known for seafood, and everything we tasted was fresh and fantastic. The atmosphere felt truly local, the prices were more than fair (especially with The Fork discount), and the experience was perfect for families.
Highly recommend if you’re nearby—especially with kids. Thank you for the wonderful food, kind service, and prosecco!
