Dopo un sopralluogo a Forlimpopoli, decidiamo di andare a visitare San Marino La Cascina del Gaucho ti appare come un miraggio dopo tanta strada e ti invita a tuffarti dentro, del resto è ora di pranzo La Signora è molto attenta e cortese e ci facciamo portare un tagliere, La Tavolozza del Contadino con salumi e formaggi di Pienza, gradevoli i salumi, scarna la scelta dei formaggi Optiamo per una grigliata x 2 e chiediamo dei contorni dove non ci sia aglio, verdure ripassate e patate al forno Vino della casa, abbastanza gradevole ed assaggiamo il pane e la focaccia tipo barese con i pomodorini La grigliata è ben cotta i tagli assortiti, un paio di salsicce ed infine 2 spiedini Cantuccini e vin santo e via andare a San Marino avvolto dalla nebbia

After an inspection in Forlimpopoli, we decide to go and visit San Marino The Cascina del Gaucho appears like a mirage after a long journey and invites you to dive in, after all it's time for lunch The lady is very attentive and courteous and we have a cutting board brought to us, La Tavolozza del Contadino with cured meats and cheeses from Pienza, the cured meats are pleasant, the choice of cheeses is limited We opt for a barbecue for 2 and ask for side dishes without garlic, sautéed vegetables and baked potatoes House wine, quite pleasant and we taste the bread and the Bari-style focaccia with cherry tomatoes The grill is well cooked with assorted cuts, a couple of sausages and finally 2 skewers Cantuccini and vin santo and off to San Marino surrounded by fog

Allora... carne superlativa, buonissima. Era da tanto che non mangiavo carne così buona! Non mi sembra ci siano primi piatti, ma la scelta tra antipasti e secondi è buona. Prezzo dei vini assolutamente onesto. Unica pecca il servizio, che a mio avviso può migliorare sia come empatia sia come celerità nelle richieste, non scendo nei dettagli delle piccole cose accadute perché in se' nulla di grave ma nel complesso mi hanno un po "guastato" il tutto. Parate al forno da migliorare. Ci penseremo, ma è probabile che ci ritorneremo!
