We expected more from the meat dish; taste-wise it was just "okay". The price-performance ratio was not good; friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere.

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant, where we enjoyed local Calabrian specialties: a platter of cheeses and charcuterie to share, succulent homemade pasta, and to-die-for meat dishes. The Greco Nero we drank with our meal was fantastic! Very welcoming and friendly staff. The establishment is beautifully decorated, renovated, and very clean.

The homemade pasta is spectacular, the meat always fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling. And then there's Pasquale, the owner, a wonderful person who puts his heart into everything he does. You can tell he cares about his restaurant and his customers. All the beautiful and delicious things that make La Casareccia da Franco a special place, where you eat excellently and feel like family. Highly recommended! 🍝🥩❤️ Thank you for everything!!!

Excellent food with typical products and a family atmosphere

Very attentive team and friendly service! We had the vegetarian antipasti plate for two, followed by delicious filet mignon. The two desserts, tiramisu and tartufo, were also delicious. Highly recommended; we'd be happy to return.

This restaurant is located on the hilltop of Tropea, about 15 minutes away. Prices are reasonable, considering it's outside the main tourist destinations. We had an appetizer at Franco's, featuring all the local products, including 'nduja, local cured meats, cheeses, meatballs, potatoes, peppers, beans, and grilled vegetables. We then ordered a traditional pasta dish (fileji) alla norma, which was truly delicious. A swordfish steak with a salad and fried potatoes was also served.
