Small place serving Syrian cuisine, simple menu. Seating both inside and outside. Dishes cooked and presented well. Friendly staff. Public parking available.

Amazing place. Two of us stopped for dinner and had three starters, the falafel and shared the BBQ chicken and lamb. Each dish amazed us and made us enthusiastic: delicious spices, unique flavors and very soft meat, cooked to perfection. The falafel fried to perfection and the generous portions, with very high quality for each product and absolutely reasonable prices: we spent 38 euros between us! We would have liked to have some desserts, but we were very full. We will definitely be back and not just for the food: simple and very clean internal space, there are also some outdoor tables overlooking a small park and furthermore the owners were super kind as well as very fast with service!

I had never tried Syrian cuisine and it was a pleasant surprise. The dishes are tasty and served very well. It's a family run place and the owner is really nice. The place is clean, in a very quiet neighborhood of Brescia. Alcohol is not served but there are a couple of pubs next door where you can buy a drink and take it to your table. The price is really low. I will definitely return. "The Syrian house" was a really nice discovery.

Premessa: siamo vegetariani e abbiamo trovato questo ristorante tra i consigliati da HappyCow. Non avevo mai assaggiato la cucina siriana e devo dire che ne sono rimasta piacevolmente stupita. Oltre ad essere una cucina molto ben equilibrata da un punto di vista nutrizionale, con un buon bilanciamento tra i vari nutrienti (e quindi adatta anche a chi sta seguendo una dieta), è anche una cucina inclusiva per tutti: vegetariani, vegani ed onnivori. Il proprietario, sebbene parli poco Italiano, si è dimostrato molto cordiale. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono: abbiamo speso intorno ai 15/20€ a testa e abbiamo mangiato divinamente!

Riporto un’ottima valutazione perché se piace questo tipo di cucina, questo take a way è davvero una chicca. Ci si può anche mangiare in loco: basta non vi aspettiate un ambiente da favola. Noi abbiamo preso assaggi di un po’ tutto: in questo caso il conto lievita, altrimenti i prezzi risultano contenuti.

I give an excellent rating because if you like this type of cuisine, this take a way is truly a gem. You can also eat on site: just don't expect a fairytale setting. We tasted a bit of everything: in this case the bill rises, otherwise the prices are low. A pleasant surprise.
