A pleasant discovery, a welcoming place just steps from the sea, with quick staff and the freshest catch of the day: grouper!! Both raw and fried dishes are delicious. Highchairs are available. Highly recommended.

La Casablanca in San Cataldo (Lecce) offers very welcoming service and highly refined food, combining tradition and innovation with top-quality products. They offer excellent customer service and helpful advice for detailed knowledge of the dishes. I recommend seeking advice from the staff in the dining room to best choose fresh, locally caught ingredients. I personally was served by Ruggero, who recommended the freshest sea urchins and a delicious sea bass first course. The real strength of this restaurant is Emiliana, an absolute leader who perfectly manages the entire service and running of the restaurant.
Highly recommended, one of the places to try if you're vacationing in Salento.

I didn't like what we ate, and I had the impression that the clams were frozen. Furthermore, the menu you see online isn't accurate.

If I could give you one piece of advice, go and enjoy some excellent fresh fish cooked to perfection! I recommend the scialatiello with braised sea bass, a perfect combination of a first course and a second course, a real treat! Well done, guys, well done chefs!

The food was very good, my compliments to the chef. The service could be much improved, as it's unpleasant to see waiters running (literally) from one place to another despite the limited number of tables. Despite their good intentions to speed up service, we still had to wait ages for our main course.
