The meat braziers are excellent, as are the cappellacci and the desserts. I'm giving four stars only because in 1 brazier for 2 people you can't find just 1 aubergine and 1 pepper.....

Very nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Excellent choice of good pizzas including wholemeal. The restaurant menu is also interesting and worth trying. The garden park and the swimming pool are also beautiful!!!

Restaurant with a very well-kept garden, eaten outside under the pergola with partially open windows, professional and kind waiters, definitely good meat, the brazier they bring you with the meat on top is eye-catching and a good idea, but in summer it tends to be hot noticeable if there is no air exchange

Sunday 06/09/24 we ate grilled meat. The desserts are also very good. The price paid is in expectation with the quality of service and food.

Carne con bracere fantastica, servizio molto cortese ed attento. Pulizia massima ovunque e prezzo giusto! Consiglio di provarlo a chi non è mai stato.

Trovati bene come sempre, bracieri ottimi, salumi buoni. Peccato x un cameriere che forse sarebbe ora lasciasse posto ai giovani. Mai un sorriso, provi a fargli un battuta, ti guarda stizzito, se fai quel lavoro, e non sorridi mai, ai sbagliato lavoro. Parlando con altri clienti , abbiamo notato, che il problema non è solo con noi, ma con tutti ( potevamo pensare che fossimo noi a non essergli simpatici). Bravo e al contrario molto simpatico il cameriere “pelato” penso sia egiziano, anche il ragazzo più giovane professionale e molto gentile.

11/08/2024: Fantastic dinner - well worth the short walk from the centre. The menu has plenty of options with regional specialties including four types of cappellacci di zucca, the Ferrara pasta hats stuffed with pumpkin. We had them with duck ragu and slices of fresh truffle - it was to die for. We also enjoyed tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, an aubergine, tomato and basil starter and a tagliata of beef with rocket and grana that was fantastic. We finished off with a very nice pistachio semifreddo and washed the lot down with their very drinkable house wine which is served by the glass or in carafes. Service was good especially the warm welcome from the chef who took time to explain the dishes to us. We really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back next time we are in Ferrara.
22/07/2024: L’ultima volta che sono stata qui è stato due anni fa e ricordo che rimasi estasiata. Giardinetto interno sempre molto bello ed accogliente. Il ventilatore da soffitto permette di godersi l’atmosfera romantica senza boccheggiare! Mise en place ora tutta in carta, sia tovaglioli che tovaglia: un gran peccato. Ordinato vino (nulla di che) della casa che è arrivato in una simpatica brocca. Menù come sempre molto variegato con tantissime proposte gustose. Grigliata ottima, cappellacci di zucca con tartufo (quest’ultimo leggermente insapore) Abbiamo dovuto attendere un po’ di tempo tempo per l’arrivo delle portate in generale, ma nulla di critico. Prezzo ottimo per due primi, due antipasti, una grigliata. Spero sia stata semplicemente una sera “no”. Amaro in bocca

04/08/2024: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I confess: I didn't know this restaurant and I had booked for a group of friends coming from all over Italy, somewhere else in a very beautiful place, which recently changed management and 20 days after booking, 2 days after my parents arrived. 5 friends, with specific needs (1 vegan, 1 vegetarian, no meat, no food with gluten etc..) stands me up! The "il laghetto" restaurant was a great surprise: the owner was very kind, super helpful, compliant, despite not being a dedicated restaurant, to all our requests, including a birthday for one of us, with a surprise effect! For me 10 and praise!! This is taking care of the customer and knowing how to provide hospitality: Thank you! 🙏 You gave us a beautiful evening, in a really lovely setting, in the countryside, with a pier overlooking the water where we had an aperitif🫶 I will be back and highly recommend!
