Always impeccable, but honestly, they've gotten a bit too expensive, so we go less often. But it's one of the few restaurants that LUCKILY doesn't allow smelly dogs.

Dinner with a partner and two friends. Four different first courses: pappardelle with hare, passatelli with porcini mushrooms, spaghetti alla giara, and tortellini with meat sauce; all very good. The tagliata and platters were also very good. The atmosphere was delightful and welcoming, as was the owner and staff. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

The appetizers, first courses, and grilled meats were truly excellent and plentiful. All accompanied by a mix of grilled vegetables and a truly delicious polenta cake. The staff were friendly and helpful, and all in a splendid location! Congratulations!

Bello il locale, buona l'accoglienza ed il servizio. Ottima la pizza, sottile e digeribile. Buoni pure i dolci. Torneremo sicuramente per prendere il "bracere". Unica pecca...la birra non un granché.

We've been going there for thirty years. Always very good. The quality of both the entrees and the meats is very good. We've always had a good experience. Be careful, the only downside is that they don't allow pets.

Laghetto Da Dondi

14/10/2025: We had a great time on Sunday, October 12th, celebrating our birthday. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by this establishment, perfect for lunches and dinners with friends. The cured meats with pinzini and piadina were delicious, as was the Ferrarese tradition of caplaz, grilled meat left over from when we were full. I hope to return soon, guys.
12/10/2025: Today was a birthday party at Laghetto. There were 65 of us, and the menu was pre-arranged. I've known the place for years, and the food is good, traditional. Aperitif with fried food, a cured meat appetizer, homemade cappellacci (a type of pasta) were delicious, and the meat was truly grilled. I thank the owners for their helpfulness and the staff for being so helpful all day. I personally find the setting rustic but wonderful. Thank you.
