La Carbonella In Bergamo

Historic restaurant-pizzeria located in the "Loreto" district of Bergamo city, easily reachable both from the highway and from the historic center area from where it moved. The style of this new location is absolutely modern. The kitchen is open and the environment is large, with the possibility of having a reserved room for convivial meetings. In fact, I attended a dinner organized by a TCI Association. The menu had obviously been agreed upon and consisted of a standing welcome buffet. Canapés, canapés, various pizzas and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were offered. Afterwards we sat at the tables, where we were served the actual dinner, consisting of a second course of meat (Cinta Senese fillet with side dish). A fruit tart concluded the dinner. Guests enjoyed the food, finding it tasty. For me, however, due to a small problem, they served an excellent Milanese risotto and a good creme caramel for dessert. In this regard, not being able to eat what was on the menu, the owner arranged for me to prepare a different meal. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness! I recommend this place, not only for the attention they pay to customers, but also for the quality and variety of the food, having a very well-stocked à la carte menu.

I had lunch in this place for the epiphany, starter of cold cuts and good first courses, very kind staff, the only negative thing was that there was a gentleman, perhaps the owner seemed a bit grumpy to me, as if he were doing himself a favor who brought us food.

Ormai da anni, è il ristorante per le feste di famiglia. Personale sempre disponibile e gentilissimo, i piatti sia di terra che di mare ogni volta migliori, i dolci buonissimi. Consiglio!
