Informal and not very welcoming environment, but characteristic in its Roman nature. Good and typical food of Roman cuisine. However, the staff is not very attentive and unfriendly, but overall the service is sufficient for the too homely environment.

I have come here several times and the experience is always super positive! Every dish on their menu deserves to be tasted at least once. Starting from the supplì, well fried and not greasy, the excellent quality boiled meatballs (the only flaw is the price, 12 euros for two large meatballs) as well as the meatballs with sauce, better than grandma's! Moving on to the piece de resistance, their carbonara is wonderful: the perfect cream and so are the pasta and bacon. Perhaps a more abundant quantity would be appreciated, but in general it is full. Even the desserts, which change depending on the day, are really tasty: from the ricotta and sour cherry cake, delicious, to the tiramisu (not exceptional), but also the grandmother's cake and the mascarpone and chocolate cake, very good. The low and honest price. The place is spartan but clean, but the staff is a little too hasty. In general, a trusted restaurant for a top-notch dinner with friends

Location sita all'interno di un circolo sportivo, dall'ambiente rustico e familiare. Tutti i primi piatti, oltre alla famosa carbonara, sono eccellenti. Buona anche la proposta di carni, pizze e specialità romane. Discreto il vino della casa, sia bianco che rosso. Servizio cortese e simpatico. Prezzi decisamente alti rispetto alla media, anche in considerazione del contesto.

Quando ho voglia di un piatto gustoso e ben fatto vado volentieri alla Carbonara d’oro dove posso sedermi in un ambiente familiare, servito da persone alla mano ma sempre cortesi e mangiare con piacere le specialità della tradizione romana
