A restaurant in the square of a small village, Cesanese wine, homemade pasta and exquisite second courses... on an evening in which the procession of the Assumption passed... it felt like being in a 60's film

We had lunch in this welcoming and clean place... we were passing through and we had really good fettuccine with black pork ragù in white and good fettuccine with porcini mushrooms.... a drop of Cesanese and water Honest price €25 They don't give you the menu but I think it's there if you ask for it The service is a little slow but they are really kind. I recommend it for anyone staying in Piglio or the surrounding area

Qui si mangia bene a prezzi onesti. Il locale è fresco e allegro, i bagni lindi. Gianfranco è un ospite cortese e simpatico. Tutta la pasta fresca è fatta nel laboratorio del cugino, sessanta metri più in là. Buon antipasto misto, primo di pasta acqua e farina con ragù bianco di maiale nero, turgido tartufo scorzone lasciato sul tavolo con la sua trifola, senza sovrapprezzo. Mia figlia ha molto gradito le sue pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale. Buoni i dolci i della casa (offerti), ampia la scelta di Cesanese dai 15 ai 60 Euro a bottiglia. Piglio, il paese del Cesanese, ha una viabilità un po’ complessa: meglio parcheggiare dove le strade sono ancora abbastanza larghe e farsi gli ultimi 200/300 metri a piedi. Ristorante di sostanza, lo vorrei sotto casa.
