A restaurant with a difference. A unique menu with interesting dishes you rarely find elsewhere. The homemade cakes are a dream! Excellent value for money! The drive up from Lecco is fun, and the view is magnificent! During the holiday season, a friend of the family is usually there, and she speaks German. Otherwise, only Italian is available... Be sure to make a reservation in advance! The drive from Lecco is worth it.

We had dinner for two, ravioli al branzi, braised beef with polenta taragna (al branzi) and apple pie. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back.

28/09/2025: My wife and I loved this gelato spot! All flavors we tried were delicious, but we especially loved the fruit flavors (the limone was pure bliss). Highly recommend if you’re looking for classic, flavorful, and refreshing Italian gelato!! We went 4 times while in Varenna.
