Never was a name more appropriate! It really seemed to me like I was back at a family dinner (at my mother-in-law's, my mother's, my grandmother's...), both for the fresh ingredients and for the cooking. The smell already when you enter the place is the typical one of our homes at lunch time.

We found this restaurant by chance, located in a quiet street near the Reggio Calabria seafront. We ate very well. The two of us had a mix of cooked and raw, tasty and good. An excellent fish soup and with the tasty sauce we made a galactic mop. But the non plus ultra was the tuna steak with Tropea onion. Something fantastic, a fresh steak and a generous portion, onion that enhanced the flavor without being invasive. House wine Nerello di Calabria, Excellent. Courteous and prompt service. What else can I say? Recommended.

I'll start by saying I had a quick dinner. I had the swordfish rolls with grilled vegetables, but they were out of this world. Served by Giuseppe, a very knowledgeable and friendly waiter. Definitely worth a try if you're passing through Reggio.

Frequentiamo regolarmente questo locale, ormai diventato un punto di riferimento per me e i miei colleghi ferrovieri. La cucina offre una vasta scelta, spaziando da ottimi piatti di carne a prelibatezze di pesce, senza dimenticare i primi piatti, sempre curati e ricchi di sapore.
Il vero punto di forza, però, è l’atmosfera familiare che si respira. Il proprietario, Antonio, è una persona squisita, sempre disponibile e attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Anche la cameriera, simpatica e di cuore, contribuisce a rendere ogni visita piacevole e accogliente.
Consiglio vivamente questo locale a chiunque cerchi una cucina autentica e un servizio caloroso.
