The place is beautiful, the staff are friendly and always smiling, as are the owners. Traditional dishes are made with high-quality ingredients and a touch of imagination. Highly recommended.

Nice place, very friendly staff—though not exactly professional—and excellent food. I had a glass of white wine, a mineral water, and bread. The fried local fish (the "sausage") was very good. Very fresh. Swordfish rolls with a delicate sauce. The house tiramisu was good. The value for money is a bit high, but I recommend trying it.

🇺🇸Whatever your pleasure: fresh seafood, succulent meats, generous and splendid bites for appetizers, sgroppino (frozen bergamot alcohol icy digestif 🤤) that is so good you want to sing! This is the place to enjoy! Also important, the cooks and staff were absolutely polite, pleasant, and capable, and also a bonus: super clean bathroom! Thank you! Highly recommend coming here! We will be back, all 8 of us 😍 🇬🇧Whatever your taste: fresh fish, succulent meats, generous and delicious appetizers, a sgroppino so good you'll want to sing! 🤤🎶 This is the right place to delight you! I had dinner at this restaurant and was truly satisfied! The food is excellent, and you can sense the care taken in preparing the dishes. The staff is kind, attentive, and very helpful. Being vegan, I found some excellent options on the menu: tasty, well-balanced dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. A truly positive experience, I'll definitely be back!

While on an extended weekend, we dined here three times. The place is atmospheric, and the food is delicious. We chose various options from the menu, and each time the meal was delicious. There's both meat and fish to choose from. I highly recommend it.

The waitress doesn't speak English. They mixed up the wine; I ordered rosé, but another waiter brought white wine. The bread was stale. But the atmosphere is pleasant and the food wasn't bad. It's a shame, but I can't give it more than three stars because of the service.

I stumbled upon it by chance while looking for a place to have lunch in Reggio Calabria. The food was good, the portions were adequate, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't like it, though, as it's on a limited-traffic street, so cars do pass by, and the outdoor tables are on the sidewalk opposite.

Oggi 19 luglio ci siamo fermati a pranzo su consiglio di un caro amico Reggino e devo dire che abbiamo mangiato molto bene, l'antipasto della suocera con tanti prodotti di terra reggini buonissimo. Il personale presente con cortesie e premure e buoni consigli senza essere invadenti. Torneremo ancora bravi!!!!

29/10/2025: I don't often write restaurant reviews, but we had the best meal of our holiday here – almost fine dining, and at very reasonable prices. The historic building is truly a gem among Scilla's already beautiful architecture, and dining on the airy terrace overlooking the sea is particularly lovely. But what really made the evening special was the incredibly warm and welcoming sommelier, who guided us through the evening with charm and humor and clearly knows his stuff – even if you only order a single wine by the glass! Thank you for a wonderful last evening in Calabria. We'll be back!
24/10/2025: On our walk through the beautiful Chianalea neighborhood, we discovered this restaurant. It can be a bit annoying to climb a long staircase to reach the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, but the effort is worth it because the views from there are magnificent. The entire restaurant is tastefully decorated. This carefully curated setting helped us achieve a very high level of gastronomic pleasure. We found the swordfish steaks to be very well seasoned and full of flavor. The tomato and burrata salad was a perfect accompaniment. The tomatoes tasted real, which is hard to find. Pizzo's truffle was perfectly cooked: we thought it was delicious. We paired the meal with a very smooth Greco Calabrian white wine. Both the maitre d' and the rest of the staff were impeccable in their work.

30/10/2025: Excellent meat and good service. It's attached to the butcher shop, so it's a bit small with limited space. Reservations are recommended as it's always busy.
01/10/2025: We visited this grill restaurant and had a truly excellent experience in every way. The staff is friendly and courteous, always available without ever being intrusive. The meat is simply delicious, tender, and plentiful: we ordered an appetizer, a tagliata with arugula and parmesan, and a mixed grill, all cooked to perfection. We paired our meal with a half-liter of wine, a Coke, and water: for two, we spent €48, a more than fair price for the quality and quantity of the dishes. The place is small, and the atmosphere may not be the best, but the quality of the food and the overall attentiveness of the service more than make up for it. Highly recommended for those who love good meat!
