Excellent rabbit, especially the quality of the meat and all the other ingredients used. The fries served with the rabbit were delicious, as were the appetizers. Excellent service. The place is beautiful, cool, and quiet. I celebrated my birthday there, but I plan to return often.

I highly recommend EVERYONE to eat here! We spent our last evening in Ischia visiting la Cantina del Sargente and were completely blown away by the incredibly good food, wonderful atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff and all at a very affordable price. I had the rabbit “Ischia-style”, which was heavenly. If I visit Ischia again I will return here. Thanks again!

Cantina del Sargente is a place that preserves the traditional Ischian cuisine, a guarantee for those who want to taste the typical rabbit (don't miss the broken ziti with rabbit sauce!) and local products. Most of the ingredients are home-made, including the wine. But what matters even more is the warm welcome of Mr. Mennella and his son, who are committed to this profession without reservations. Finally, also worth mentioning is the beautiful atmosphere, among the family vineyards. A place absolutely worth visiting!

25/04/2025: The pizza with raw escarole, if I remember correctly is called peasant, has olives that have the classic smell of canned olives... you have to use good olives otherwise it's better not to put them... water costs too much.
