La Cantina del Sargente In Barano d'ischia

20/12/2025: I hadn't been there for a few years. It's a shame it's gotten much worse. I hope it was just an episode. I'll go back to check it out because I care about the place.

01/12/2025: Overall, good food. The pizza is made with excellent ingredients, which is immediately noticeable; unfortunately, with the restaurant full, they seem to be struggling to manage the workload: several pizzas were burned, which significantly affected the final result. The atmosphere could be improved. The dining room is welcoming, but the bathroom and other areas of the restaurant leave much to be desired: mold, cracks in the walls, and neglected details that could use some fixing. The platter was disappointing. The portions were rather small, with few cheeses, and the only "jam" served was a little honey. Much better could be done. The staff was truly impeccable. The waiters were kind, helpful, and professional: they were the best part of the experience.
