Family lunch. Well-kept vintage place. The passion they put into the kitchen is unique and this can be seen in the dishes that come out in the dining room. Very fresh food cooked like at grandma's house. Carbonara that comes with a cream that enhances the memories of my childhood. Low prices for the quality offered. €15 per person including drinks. Never seen prices like this. Worth coming back to taste the desserts; tiramisu and tarts (homemade) which were finished today but by all accounts were stellar. We consoled ourselves with the tozzetti and wine donuts, always made by them. New management approved...

Stumbled upon it by chance for a quick business lunch. Normal food, poorly prepared Roman pasta dishes, seasoned with bacon or supermarket cubes. Otherwise fast and attentive service.

A small cellar with 6/7 tables and genuine cuisine made by an elderly woman named Oliva 🙂 you don't spend much despite all the increases nowadays. Cozy environment, you spend €12 for a starter, a first course, a second course and a side dish

While traveling we stop here by pure chance, a homely place and cuisine as if we had gone to grandma's house. Spectacular. Simple environment and what an authentic place should be without frills. Very low prices and quality of food with real tastes of the past, no frills in the plating etc. but we don't care. Nice travel break!

Homemade cuisine, small but welcoming environment

This was our most memorable dining experience in Italy. We stayed just down the road, and I wanted our group to experience a local experience. From the moment we walked in, Manuel welcomed us with open arms. I only speak a little bit of Italian, so there was a language barrier at times, but they worked hard to accommodate us throughout diner. The food was outstanding. My carbonara was velvety and full of flavor. The bruschetta was devoured by our table immediately. The beans were so simple, but perfectly seasoned and tender. We had a sense of joy throughout service. Then our bill came, and I couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was for such a priceless experience. I am so thankful to have found this restaurant. I wish I could go back and become a regular.

It's been 10yrs since last visit .and it's still a wonder to walk into an old horse barn converted to a cantina. Price fix menu can't be beat!!! Full course for 12 euro with wine!!!!! Have some patience. He works alone.than again why are you in a rush? Your in italy enjoy!!!!
