Very kind host and very good chef. There were 6 of us at dinner and we had 5 first courses, 1 second course and 3 side dishes: carbonara, matriciana, stew with potatoes, artichokes, chicory and chips, all very good, exceptional carbonara. All less than 10 euros per person. Well done, keep it up

Trattoria like it used to be, simple but nice. For reasons of time we only took a plate of gnocchi. Good but I expected them to be home made, but instead they were from the local pasta factory. The waiter was very kind even though at the beginning he asked us what we wanted to eat, rather than offering us a menu. But that's part of the simplicity of the place and didn't bother me too much. Maybe I'll come back to try other dishes.

RETURNING TO MARATEA WE CONTACTED THE STRUCTURE AT 2.25 PM AT THE PONTECORVO EXIT ASKING IF IT WAS STILL POSSIBLE TO EAT GIVEN THE CLOSING SCHEDULED AT 3.00 PM, THE CORRECT OWNER WAITED FOR OUR ARRIVAL AND DELIGHTED US WITH CLASSIC FIRST COURSES FROM THE CUISINE ROMANA, CARBONARA, MATRICIANA AND A MOUTH-LICKING SAUCE, BEEF CUTLETS WITH VERY SOFT MEAT AND FRESHLY CUT AND FRIED CHIPS A BOTTLE OF WATER ACTUALLY AND A HALF SMOOTH MINERAL AT A WONDERFUL PRICE 28 EUROS, WHAT CAN I SAY I'LL TRY TO COME BACK AS SOON AS WE ARE AGAIN
