La Caffetteria In Maratea

The sandwiches and bocconotti are excellent, with different flavors and not the usual two that the others sell! Returned in September 2024: excellent as always! Returned again in 2025: everything excellent, very friendly staff!

Fantastic evening. I had dinner here with my friends and I ate the roasted caciocavallo ice cream, which was very good and had a variety of flavors. I highly recommend it.

Fabulous place. I spent a week in Maratea and had dinner there several evenings. The Maratea-style eggplant parmigiana was very good, and the sandwich with caciocavallo cheese and local sausage was a real treat, especially the ice cream was very good. I'll definitely be back.

In August 2025, I found myself in the small square of Maratea, where I stopped for a sandwich, a veal burger, and local caciocavallo cheese. I then had an excellent ice cream and a delicious cedar bocconotto to take away. I'd recommend it again. And let's not forget the excellent prices.

Only the Maratea square is worth the 5 points.

In the afternoon, we stopped at a small café for refreshments and made a wonderful discovery. Outside, there were some beautifully designed covered tables, with gorgeous hand-painted ceramic tables: a detail that makes the atmosphere elegant and unique. The interior is also very welcoming and pleasant. We ordered gelato, small bottles of water, and gelato-filled brioches. The flavors were a surprise: some truly original and unique, never-before-heard ones, which made the experience even more interesting. Overall, we had a great time: friendly service, a refined atmosphere, and excellent products. A place definitely worth a stop!

We ate here for lunch. The Maratea salad was good, as was the charcuterie board. The sandwich was decent. The coffee and ice cream were excellent, though. The price was average for the area.

Wonderfully situated in the middle of a square in Maratea. Delicious ice cream and a cold beer. After the mega-crowded hustle and bustle of Naples and Pompeii, it's a breath of fresh air here.
