I discovered La Buga by chance two years ago during a stay in Chiavari and was enchanted by everything. I returned last week for two nights in a row; I would have continued, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed for rest. I'll dream about the wonderful oysters (and everything else) until my next vacation. Thank you, and thanks again, to Alessandra and Alessandro.

Are you in Chiavari? Do you love fish? Then definitely visit La Buga. We had a delicious meal and drinks there, and enjoyed the excellent service from Alessandra, Emma, and mega-chef Alessandro. The dishes were beautiful and simple (as usual in Italy).
Go there, you won't regret it!

Excellent restaurant, with a lovely, quiet outdoor setting. The staff is attentive and very willing to share dishes. Everything was delicious, especially the spaghetti, the catch of the day, and the cod. We'll definitely be back.

I returned a year later and found the staff to be just as helpful, kind, and friendly.
Food prepared with love and respect for the ingredients, a journey into the sea, expertly served.
