The best restaurant in Florence! The service and food was amazing, highly recommend. Nico and another server (didn’t get his name but he’s getting married on Tuesday) were amazing and made the experience great. Definitely get the gnocchi, steak and cheesecake!

It was recommended so highly and we easily experienced why. The servers are personable and enjoyable, the food - out of this world, and the atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious but fun with corks donning the majority of the walls. Having delicious gluten free options (including bread) was a major win and the gnocchi was heaven in a bite. Great wine recommendations for the perfect steak - we were so full! They took special care with our 9 year old - including him and making him feel involved. We went somewhere else on our last night and regret it terribly. This should have been the place. Reservations are needed!

This restaurant was great from the moment we walked in. The food was really tasty, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. The pasta was fresh and full of flavour. The staff were helpful and friendly, checking in on us without being too much. We also enjoyed a glass of wine that went well with the meal. The place felt warm and inviting. Highly recommend it.

Wow! I returned 10 years later and the food got BETTER?? I was so excited to return to Firenze and show my husband all my favorite things- La Buchetta included. They so did not disappoint. If you are looking for top notch service and the place to get your Bistecca alla Fiorentina- come here immediately. But do not sleep on the their gnocchi dish- literally the best thing we ate on our 16 days in Italy - Gnocchi Angeli e Demoni Their wine list is perfect, the cozy location (now they have two but went to the original) Very romantic and fantastic!

Our family ate here on our first night in Florence. We chose this restaurant on a recommendation from our apartment owner and it was an excellent introduction to Florentine food. We ate in a few different places during our stay, but La Buchetta really stood out. It was a small cosy restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. We had a cheese and meat antipasti between us to start and it was delicious, and so much food! One of our party had the cheese pasta and another had the steak - I had a Tuscan stew which was delicious. But the feedback all round was excellent food! Definitely worth a visit.

Pranzo domenicale incantevole , personale preciso ed attento professionale ma familiare ! Qui si respira Firenze la Toscana e l’erte culinaria ! Siamo stati qua 7 anni fa e il ricordo era sbiadito dal tempo ma è bastato un secondo per riaccenderlo ! Magnifico ottima qualità Prezzo ! Il nostro posto fisso ! La nostra tappa obbligatoria !

06/06/2025: Quaint family run restaurant. Was recommended by our hotel, may be easy to walk by but certainly worth stopping inside! We were served by the owner and his daughter, who were attentive and friendly. My mom, sister and I shared a Florentine steak along with a couple sides which were all delicious. The pear stuffed pasta was fabulous!! Definitely worth checking out when in the area.
20/04/2025: Excellent steak and desserts. Very friendly service.
