This restaurant is incredible. We had the Pici Special and the Angels & Demons gnocchi and both were divine. So rich and flavorful. Highly recommend. Very kind staff too.

Small, intimate restaurant Good music and very welcoming boss Delicious food; the osso bucco was perfect and the wine very cold. Small bunch offered at the end of the meal. Absolutely recommended

Best Italian experience in Florence. Pasta cooked with local truffles in front of us in a wheel, then for dessert the best cheesecake I have eaten in my life. A great atmosphere with Italian music that immerses you in the mood. I recommend +++++++++!!! 🤌🤌🤌

What a wonderful, cozy restaurant! From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food, everything was wonderful! I was celebrating my birthday there and my server Emiliano was just as enthusiastic as I was. He was attentive, funny, professional, and very knowledgeable with the extensive wine list and food. We ordered the Crostini Toscani e Burratina which is chicken pâté on toasted bread with burrata cheese. It has a strong flavor and is an acquired taste. The creamy burrata mellows out the flavor and balances it, in my opinion. Next we had the Fennel salad, which was very refreshing and the combination of fennel, oranges, olives and nuts makes for an adventure in your mouth. Who knew those ingredients would go so well together?! Next was the Pici Special, which is thick spaghetti. Nothing too exciting, but the flavors were definitely there. Next was one of my favorites, the Gnocchi.... it was excellent.... too beautiful a presentation to eat, but irresistible. It was so creamy and the gnocchi dumplings were so fluffy. Next was the grilled Filet Mignon, it was very tender and cooked to perfection. Last was the Catch of the Day, honestly I couldn't tell what the fish was, but it was so soft and flaky and super tasty! And then a side of the Heirloom Tomato Salad, which was lightly seasoned and you can definitely taste the fresh sweetness of the tomatoes. I also got to try a wonderful birthday dessert, which was a warm cheesecake with berry drizzle. I've never had cheesecake warm before, but now I'm a fan! Overall, an amazing dining experience! I will definitely visit La Buchetta again the next time I'm in Florence!

We were able to make a last minute reservation in a Sunday evening after arriving in Florence/Firenze. The atmosphere and music are wonderful and the food is fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful in pairing wine with our selections. The osso-buco melts in your mouth and the gnocchi was cooked perfectly! Capped the meal off with limoncino!

So far this was everyone’s favorite restaurant on our European trip.

La Buchetta is the cutest place and the food is amazing. I had the best gnuddi I have ever had and the ravioli were incredible! Our server was just what you want in a waiter! In our top 3 and maybe my number 1 of places we went in Florence thid week.
