I'm Greek and I stayed in Modena for two weeks on an educational program. I visited "La Brusca" three times with my Spanish friends and the food was excellent! The best pasta I've had in Modena! The place is beautiful and the owner is very kind.

Extremely cozy restaurant with a real Italian feel. Delicious food, fast service, vegetarian options, I recommend it.

Every time I return to Modena, I dine here. The wine is the highlight, paired with excellent traditional dishes, in a serene and relaxing atmosphere.

Not to be missed! An absolute gem in the centre I found this family run independent whilst on holiday and was absolutely delighted in all levels. It has excellent classic Modenese / Emilian hone cooking at very reasonable prices. I’m half Modenese so can say this is the real deal! The interior is absolutely lovely- atmospherically combining tradition with modern tweaks ( very cool quotes on the walks) is comfortable and welcoming. Was SO good I went three times in a week. Is very close to the cathedral but tucked nicely into a side street so is away from hustle & bustle. Stay away from tourist nonsense and head here it’s a gem
