La Brusca In Modena

I was a customer of this osteria for a week and ate there every day. I tried a bit of everything, delicious dishes accompanied by a good Lambrusco, perfect service, very kind owners, intimate but beautiful place just a stone's throw from Piazza Duomo. What can I say? I'm reluctantly returning to the Marche region. If you pass through Modena, go there.

A typical restaurant, small but welcoming. Highly recommended for a home-cooked meal.

The atmosphere is welcoming and unique in many ways; not very large, but quite intimate and warm. Excellent food, everything truly delicious, and served in record time. The staff is kind, welcoming, and very friendly. Even though the tables seem full, they try to find a place to feed everyone, or almost everyone. The price is good and affordable, despite the excellent quality of the products served! 5 stars for everything!!

We really loved this place. It's very, very good and very reasonably priced. A friendly, local feel.

A cozy, softly lit restaurant. It was fun to read the signs hanging on the walls and enjoy the conversation with good background music. The wait was short for delicious, typical Modena dishes; we were served by extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent value: for four courses, two glasses of wine, 1 liter of water, and dessert, we spent a total of €57. Highly recommended, right in the center of Modena.

Possibly one of the most amazing places I have visited in Modena, or wider Italy. You can see the authenticity of the place as soon as you walk in. The (what I’m assuming was) owner welcomed us warmly, sat us down, helped with the choice of food and drink. The pasta and gnocchi was literally melting in my mouth - it was the best pasta I have ever had in my life. I’m 30 and I eat a lot of pasta! People working in the restaurant as well as the customers, who we think may have been local, were the most friendly people we could have asked to sit next to. They sang along to a guitar, played beautifully, introduced us to a local desert (Salame al cioccolato), which they kindly shared with us. What an absolutely incredible and one of a lifetime experience.

On Saturday evening, a couple of friends of ours took us to dinner here, in the center of Modena. It was our first time, and we'll be back for many more, given the warm welcome from Fabrizio, a genuine host who takes care of every detail of his guests' needs. Tagliatelle with ragù and a huge platter of mixed cured meats (excellent quality) accompanied by baskets of "Tigelle." To wash it all down, we happily joined our friends for a Gin and Tonic! 😎

A PERFECT choice!!! We enjoyed delicious tigelle and gnocco fritto, cooked to perfection! The first courses were also delicious, and we also really appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the owner! We found a familiar, colorful, fun atmosphere, and above all, great professionalism from the owner and the staff, who served us with care! Excellent value for money! Absolutely RECOMMENDED!
