La Braceria Del Conterissoso In Fontaneto d'agogna

Very soft and tasty meat, wide choice of cuts and condiments on the menu. The owner took great care in explaining everything. We really appreciated the attention paid to intolerances (in our case lactose) and vegetarian/vegan diets, even though it is a place that mainly makes meat. We will be back for sure!

The meat sold by weight is excellent (they weigh it with the scale at the table before cooking). The service is lacking and the environment is also very minimal... like a mountain hut. They insist a little too much on making you consume as much as possible and this borders on annoying. On the other hand, the bill, compared to the context, is high.

Delicious meat melts in your mouth

In this barbecue place you will stop time. There is everything you could want. Incredible quality raw materials, a family environment and old-fashioned courtesy. The meat is sublime and cooked to perfection. I can't wait to return!

I was there for a dinner with friends, a simple place, there was a wood stove lit, unbearably hot, very friendly staff, unacceptable waiting time (more than an hour), of course good meat costs money but for what it costs I ate and for the place it is I find it a little expensive, good choice of wines, low level desserts, everyone out of the place at 11.30pm. It could be nice in summer outside.

Good morning, Today we went to the agriturismo “La Braceria del Conterissoso”. Located not far from Fontaneto D'agogna and the provincial road connecting the towns of Borgomanero and Novara. The agritourism is open all year round during weekends. Rita and Tino welcome us in a typical Piedmontese farm setting. The restaurant has a rustic interior with a warm atmosphere. But don't worry, in the summer, the agritourism has a large terrace on the edge of the meadows. The cuisine is seasonal and local. They ensure that they are part of a high range of products from small neighboring towns. The quality of service is at the heart of the meal. The service can be provided in Italian, English and French. We highly recommend this quality address which provided us with an explosion of flavors for our taste buds. We will come back! We give 4 stars only to be able to return and appreciate even more this extraordinary grill where you can savor special flavours. We Venetians from the city of Grappa called one evening and got to know Tino's education and character. Bingo! It grabbed us right away. Asked for availability of a table for two. Once we arrive at the place we open the door and all the bystanders look at us. We are not regular customers but happy to be welcomed into the family. As an appetizer (it's a euphemism given the quality and quantity) polenta taragna with porcini mushrooms and gorgonzola. Sublime. Then, being greedy, we ordered a steak with Rita who accompanied us into her kitchen. I ate excellent meat cooked to perfection and mouth-watering side dishes. Excellent wine suggested by Rita and promptly approved. Too bad they don't have rooms to make an encore bottle. Finished our superb dinner with homemade desserts and Malvasia. We returned to the hotel. Clearly we will return and tell our excellent experience to our friends and acquaintances. Thanks again for your welcome. Lucia and Danilo.

Rustic and cute place, really excellent meat

Excellent environment surrounded by greenery, in the summer you eat under a large porch created with wooden beams which makes the context very "mountain refuge"😊. The meat is excellent and well cooked, I would say the best we have eaten so far. The other foods such as fruit and vegetables are also seasonal and selected. Friendly staff and quirky owners.....in a good way. Fair price for delicious food. Must try.
