22/01/2025: Tried the restaurant on Sunday for lunch, the room was beautiful, intimate, warm, well furnished and set. Friendly and attentive staff, but service a little slow at times. We took:
Starter of cured meats, cheeses and giardiniera - all very good, and fresh
Of the first courses (gnocchi, tortelli and macaroni) - homemade, it felt delicious, well made, really liked
A gutturnio braised meat - very tender meat, tasty but not too salty, really appreciated
Desserts - lemon yoghurt with rosemary crumble and strawberry coulis, really fresh and well made
- Pistachio ganache on the other hand a little heavy, too sweet
Correct bill, we had a very good time.
However, the bathroom was freezing.
07/01/2025: New Year's Eve dinner 2025 with night included: booked at the end of November without any deposit. We had a great time with the welcome, the room (large) and the dinner menu. The quality of the proposal of the latter is truly remarkable. Room not particularly large, tables not crowded "to make up numbers", numerous staff always attentive and quick. The location is excellent, just outside Bobbio: a stone's throw from the old town but far enough away to avoid the noise at night. Ideal for those who prefer comfortable tradition.
