La Boccia Tuscany Wine & Food In Rapallo

I found it to be a "rustic" place, just the way I like it. The dishes are few but well-prepared. It's also a wine bar, but I didn't bother with the wine. Delicious sandwiches and Tuscan dishes. I'll gladly return.

Great. Pleasant service with friendly staff who gave us good advice. The atmosphere was also pleasant. Very good quality, really nothing to complain about.

Buzzing place in the old town with a jolly owner and great food. A very broad selection of unusual panini, the one with (raw) salsiccia, Gorgonzola and caramelised onion chutney blew us away, sensational. Also nice selection of half bottles of wine.

Very cozy place, in the old town, enjoyed tartar, big portion, beef stew satisfied, smaller plate. I guess that’s Italian way eating the main course, a lots of paninis, probably good, didn’t have a chance to try. Overall good place for a dinner and drinks or for the bites and appetizers.

I had a wonderful experience. The food was quality, even though we ordered "simple" sandwiches. The prices were competitive for a simple dinner, although the restaurant also offers typical Genoese and Tuscan hot dishes. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A very positive note is that the menu describes the "house-made desserts," which the owner brought to our table as a demonstration to ease our hesitation, and I hope they continue to do so. Highly recommended!

Ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en meedenkend. Wijn die we in overleg hadden uitgezocht was uitstekend en was zo goed dat we in alle wijnwinkels naar dezelfde hebben gezocht. Met helaas weinig resultaat. Als voorgerecht hebben we een plankje met hammetjes besteld, -wat geweldig was- en de steak tartaar met “truffel”, wat niet was zoals we hem kende en eigenlijk best smakeloos was, erg jammer en uiteindelijk wel de reden dat deze recensie geen 5, maar 4 sterren was. Als hoofdgerecht hadden we de geroosterde octopus en lasagne met ragu. De octopus was erg goed (als je een grote eter bent, zou ik een side dish er bij bestellen) en de lasagne was buitengewoon lekker. Bij het dessert merkten we op dat het niet vers bereid was, wat ik wel een minpunt vond, maar wel begrijpelijk is gezien de grootte van de keuken. Daarnaast was de bediening super vriendelijk, en zagen ze er uit alsof ze hun werk heel leuk vonden. Uiteindelijk 4 uur lang gezeten en super erg genoten in deze prachtige wijnbar.
