I had one of my best ever steaks here! Really tender and delicious! A rustical atmosphere and beautiful local restaurant! Stracciatella ice cream was great, too! Really worth a visit. On busy days, you may need to wait in line a bit!

La Bettola del Buttero has a really important location, varying between a beautiful outdoor space, and an indoor space where you can admire their beautiful grill in full view.
Such a large location that leads to a "rushed" service, where the waiters seem forced to be rather hasty.
To start we tried the classic pappardelle with ragù. The tomato and pasta were of excellent quality, it's a shame they were light on meat and the flavor of the sauce prevailed by far, which, although good, took away a lot of space from the idea of ragù that we may have in mind.
As for the highlight, namely the meat, I can say that the level is good, but not excellent.
The Florentine steak was tasty, not real butter, but of a good level. Even with the fat pleasant to eat, a sign of good quality.
It's a shame about the pieces of not important size.
The sausage, excellent, nothing to say. I would only review the portion.
The baked potatoes were well done, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and well flavored.
I wouldn't recommend the cannellini beans, however. I found them rather bland. The bruschetta with cherry tomatoes was ok.
As for desserts, I tried the crème brûlé, homemade by them, where the egg flavor was too predominant, and it was burnt on the bottom. Too bad.
I found the prices to be fair.
Overall, the food isn't bad, but many details make Buttero a place from zero to zero, without infamy and without praise, where nothing remains so impressed except the majesty of a truly particular location.

A place located along the highway that goes from Rome to Tuscany, really excellent quality. Excellent food, reasonable prices and well-trained staff, always kind and helpful. We hadn't booked, but we went very early, when we came out there were a lot of people waiting, so I think it's better to book, if possible. Definitely worth going back to!

The outing to Fabbro was almost a long-awaited appointment, a small moment of pause in the middle of the journey. And here we are, we go out and in a moment we are already outside, in front of the restaurant. The parking lot is quiet, the atmosphere relaxed. We are welcomed by kind, polite staff, who even though it was Easter and we hadn't booked, still found us a little place.
And then... the courses. Fantastic, exquisite, really good, like never before. Every bite seemed to tell of the passion and care of an authentic cuisine.
And nothing, a decidedly positive experience. A real regenerating pit stop, perfect for getting back on the road with renewed enthusiasm.

Io ci sono stato tantissime volte e faccio fare il giro turistico al mio amico, le ampie sale, il banco delle carni, il camino grande e quello piccole per la cottura sotto la cenere
Prima ti portavano il fiasco del vino della casa, ma adesso è vino in bottiglia, non di eccelsa qualità, ma giovane di facile e non impegnativa beva, un Matero, della Cantina Gentilini di Cetona, in provincia di Siena
Io piloto un po’ il menù, x cui bruschetta fagioli e bruschetta al ciauscolo, poi la carne che qui è veramente top, tagliate al rosmarino, patate e cipolle sotto la cenere e patate al forno
Tutto delizioso e saporito, servizio veloce e gentile, io però non posso non farmi portare la mitica crostata di ricotta e cioccolato, mai dolcissima, anzi più rustica come si confà col posto e con i butteri, una vera leccornia
