I was there recently with my girlfriend, VERY INTIMATE place, very nice and welcoming (the only flaw for my tastes are the tables too close to each other, it didn't bother me too much). Excellent service with waiters who explain the dishes to you and finally space food I really liked it Ps. I don't recommend going there with tables as I said, it's an intimate place, prices aren't exactly accessible but it's worth it for the good food and nice service. MY RETURN GUARANTEED

A nugget perched on the heights of Rapallo, a perfect welcome, service and advice. A menu of meat of all kinds cooked over a “fireplace” wood fire right in the middle. A delight and a superb address, remember to book!!! Thanks to the whole team, the desserts are fantastic. A wine list in relation to the dishes… I recommend this place.

Ottimi i crostini con i fegatini, scadente la costata di fassona sulla brace, troppo magra e dí difficile masticazione. Locale piccolo e tavoli molto vicini. Piuttosto caro.

My wife and I went for dinner, I must say it was absolutely a nice place, good food and good, precise and punctual room service. The first course was excellent, the desserts were good (the pear cooked in Barolo was exceptional). The prices are reasonable high, (all exposed anyway) but for what you eat I think they are correct because the raw material and the context are worth them.. the only flaw, if I have to split hairs, the coffee is really expensive..

Locale piccolo e carino sulle alture di Rapallo, con brace a vista. Menù con una buona selezione di piatti di terra, carne buona e ben cucinata. Lista vini discreta ma da rivedere su alcune scelte. Servizio cortese, tempi di attesa corretti. Conto leggermente sopra la media.

We went to the restaurant "La Beccaccia" yesterday, Christmas day. It is a very nice, rustic place, with friendly and professional staff. Parking is not available, we rely on the fate of the road unfortunately, since the place is located on high ground and there is no dedicated space. Having said that, there were 4 of us, they made us sit upstairs, where everything was decorated according to the tradition of the restaurant, mixed with the Christmas spirit. The seats were a little cramped, with the benches a little too high compared to the table, so sitting was a little uncomfortable. We ordered 4 appetizers, 4 first courses, a Fiorentina di Fassona Piemontese and 3 desserts, 1lt of wine and 2lt of water. It was all very, very good, the portions were not like those of a classic restaurant, but smaller, a cross between gourmet and trattoria so to speak; therefore the prices were related to both the quality and the image of the place. All this to say that if you want a particular experience, different from the usual, I certainly recommend it, but you have to take into account the type of dishes and the fact that you are not going to a local restaurant where the prices are low. I forgot to say that the cleanliness is impeccable, both in the room, at the table and also in the bathroom, where everything has a precise order and in harmony with everything else. I went to eat at this place this evening and I must say it was a fantastic experience! I booked 2 days before and I immediately received a message on WhatsApp on how to get there and the next day another message to remind me of everything. Which I very much appreciated. As soon as I arrived I was welcomed with professionalism and courtesy. The owner recommended a 1.4kg Florentine steak preceded by fabulous bruschetta with lard that melted in your mouth. A real goodness. The tender and tasty meat that I literally devoured and stripped down to the bone. As a "dessert" instead of sweet I preferred a taste of tagliolini creamed in a wheel of parmesan that spoke with angels. Appropriate bill for the food tasted. Absolutely worth trying again!
