In Bologna, you'll find many street vendors selling chestnuts, but Baracca's, unlike others, are high-quality and well-cooked. They also make excellent herbal teas and cakes. Dogs are welcome.

La Baracca is a small place on Via Massarenti that offers roasted chestnuts and red wine in the winter and watermelon in the summer. Very cozy and freindly place to enjoy chestnuts heated fresh, some red wine, tea, cute dessert and warm-hearted setting to sit with your friends ♥️ The only drawback is that it's on the street, so you keep hearing the cars pass by :') but you can still enjoy conversations on the table 😊 Highly recommended 🌟

29/10/2025: Super cute place in the center of Bologna, perfect for any event. In fact, I couldn't resist organizing my graduation party there, not only for the beautiful location but also for the wide range of gluten-free options. In my experience, the staff has always been extremely kind and attentive, so both my guests and I had a great time. I'll definitely be back!
18/10/2025: Amazing spot in a gorgeous part of Bologna. Authentic food and fun drinks worth stopping for. Love from Romania :)
