I had the pleasure of dining at "La Balena Bianca", a charming fish restaurant located a few steps from the seafront and close to picturesque Bordighera. From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, whose friendliness immediately created a familiar and relaxing atmosphere. The menu is a triumph for fish lovers. The appetizer of raw seafood was exquisite, very fresh oysters, tuna tartare and Sanremo red prawns, all elegantly presented and accompanied by an excellent prosecco. The flavor and freshness of the fish were unmatched. The restaurant also offers a large selection of local and national wines, with the staff always ready to suggest the best pairings for each dish. "La Balena Bianca” is undoubtedly a must stop in Vallecrosia. The quality of the food, the professionalism of the service and the warm welcome make this restaurant a must for anyone visiting the area. I can't wait to return for a Another evening of good taste and conviviality. Highly recommended!

L’endroit est très bien placé, jolie terrasse, la mer en face , la verdure , menthe,basilic,ciboulette, etc. La cuisine est raffinée , les cuissons , et les saveurs, sont parfaites et très goûteuses. Attratti dalla reputazione della chef abbiamo prenotato per cena di compleanno. Niente da opinare sulla presentazione piatti, sulla qualità degli ingredienti, davvero al massimo. Nota dolente invece sul servizio: chiediamo due calici di vermentino, non ne hanno ci offrono Pigato (senza presentazione dell'azienda!!). Dopo il primo sorso mi accorgo che uno dei bicchieri è scheggiato sul bordo, chiedo venga sostituito. (anche io a casa, prima di apparecchiare controllo... Evidentemente qui è sfuggita l'attenzione..) Ci portano un nuovo calice; viene riempito giusto per la stessa quantità che era rimasta(!), peccato che invece del Pigato che stavamo degustando viene versato uno chardonnay... Ma la nota davvero dolente è stata, per noi, che la preparazione del" calamaro alla griglia ripieno di trombette è cipolla egiziana in crema di curcuma" abbia provocato, in sala, un forte odore di griglia, tanto forte da farci decidere di non lasciare il locale senza neppure gustare dolce e caffè. Peccato, davvero un gran peccato che tanta abilità in cucina non veda un servizio al cliente altrettanto di qualità.

Salle agréable spacieuse et lumineuse face à la mer. Équipe sympathique et efficace. Excellente cuisine raffinée avec de belle présentation digne d'un étoilé. Les quantités sont raisonnable ce qui permet de faire un repas de l entrée/pâtes jusqu'au dessert sans être forcément un gros mangeur. La qualité et la fraîcheur sont de mises avec une vrai cuisine maison.
