First time, after walking past many times. What can I say? Too bad we didn't go in sooner! Fabulous appetizers, excellent first and second courses with meat, and wow desserts (the plating is a 10). Friendly and fast service. I would definitely go back!!!

4 full stars. Everything was very good. The only flaw was that they were out of mushrooms. My wife asked for tagliolini with mushrooms, and without telling her, they brought her tagliolini with radicchio. Good grilled food!!

Well-kept place and excellent cuisine!

Osteria Al Portego is located along the road between Rosà and Cittadella. The entrance is inside the courtyard of a renovated old house. Given the pleasant temperature, we dined outside, but the interior dining room is equally pleasant and stylishly furnished. The menu is typical of the area, with a welcome drink of homemade giardiniera. We then ordered creamed cod served with the inevitable grilled polenta, sweet and sour onions, and bruschetta. For our first course, we had bigoli with courtyard ragù, local fillet steak, and Vicenza-style cod with polenta. The quality is evident, the only complaint being that one meat course had been requested rare, but was served medium rare. The service was excellent and friendly. The lunch was pleasant and relaxing, with good food and excellent quality.
