L' Oblo' Cafe In Taormina

Somewhat slow service and high prices. Magical view of the island.

We tried our luck twice, but the first time we were turned away because the cash register was broken, and the second time it was just after 6 p.m., but that day they closed at 6 p.m. It's a shame, because the view would have been absolutely fabulous.

The Best Gentlemen Servers!!! Espresso is perfecto!!! Breath taking views from this amazing cafe that sits on top of Taormina stairs to Isola Bella so worth every moment to sit enjoy little refreshments and food!!! Ci vediamo amici miei!! Ciao Grazie💋💋

More of a tourist trap. Of course, the view is great. The service was very friendly. We only had drinks; the fresh orange juice was definitely not fresh, and it was a maximum of 0.1 liter, with the rest being ice. €8 for that. And then there was the coverto. Not again.

We stopped here for a couple of drinks to enjoy the view of Isola Bella, which is lovely. Along with our order, the waiter also brought some extra brunch, which was a nice touch. A good spot if you’d like to sit back and take in the scenery.

Beautiful view! Of course, the place is very expensive, but in the end, it's acceptable, both for the location and the view... at least the cocktails were good, even if there are no off-menu cocktails available, nor the one on the menu I chose. Anyway, a great experience. I'm taking off a star because for what you pay, I expected much more professional waiters!

Nice enough little spot to stop in for a drink and to soak up the view. It's a little bit pricey but not horrible. The drinks are fine, not great. You really are paying to sit and enjoy the scenery (and the scenery is amazing) If you are not interested in sitting down there is a viewing platform right next door but otherwise, why not sit down and have an Aperol and enjoy yourself.

Great place, beautiful views, friendly service. The drinks came with chips, peanuts, and slices of pizza, very nice. I recommend it :)

Très jolie terrasse avec une vue spectaculaire vers Isola Bella. Mais attention, tarif en conséquence: le café est facturé le double de la plupart des autres endroits et nous avons eu la désagréable surprise de nous voir facturer 2€/pers de couverts alors que nous n’avons pas mangé!!! Il vous faudra donc compter le capucins à 6,50€! Donc profitez bien de la vue!!!
