While vacationing in Puglia with my boyfriend, we couldn't miss trying puccia. Searching the alleys of Lecce for a place to try our first puccia, my boyfriend suggested we sit here. The menu is very varied: our choices were the "specialty with spicy horse meat" (since we wanted to try this typical horse meat) and the "special max mariola" with mozzarella, turnip tops, lampascioni (wild onions), fresh tomatoes, and anchovies. We split the portions so we could try both. The puccia were well-filled and flavorful. The puccia with horse meat was rich in pieces of meat and not overly spicy, with a nice balance of flavors. The puccia max mariola was also well-filled; the ingredients blended beautifully, you could taste them perfectly. Both passed the test, and despite being quite filling, they turned out to be very light, as if we hadn't eaten them at all. A wonderful discovery.

Excellent, only 2 flaws: - they don't serve the dish - the bottom of the puccia is undercooked. But I'll gladly return! Thanks
