We stopped by to try La Puccia. The young man and woman who run it were incredibly kind, seated us right away, and gave us wonderful advice. Two puccias, one with swordfish and one with horse meat, were truly excellent, to say the least.

We ordered three puccie: the vegetarian one, the one with
meatballs, and the one with octopus. The first two were amazing, especially the one with
meatballs. Unfortunately, the octopus in the third was very rubbery, although well-seasoned, so it wasn't very appreciable. The service was excellent, with handy takeout boxes and napkins.

We went to this restaurant and tried various pucce (turnip greens, octopus, and swordfish). They were all really good, the one with swordfish being the best. The staff was friendly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we found a red thread inside the puccia with swordfish (which can happen, mind you), but when we mentioned it, the guy took it and explained it was the cutting board (impossible, since we found it inside the puccia). Then, without even saying anything else, he took it and threw it on the floor without even a gesture of apology. It's a shame, because it deserved better.

Abbiamo volontariamente cercato questo piccolo locale collocato a 10 minuti circa dalla piazza principale poiché ben segnalato da altri viaggiatori. Non ci ha deluso: innanzitutto il,luogo è piacevole ed ampio(non si direbbe da fuori) poiché ha una capacità ricettiva su due piani; inoltre la puccia è veramente buona: il meglio è ovviamente il ripieno interno che è cucinato in modo familiare e gustoso. Sebbene i gusti siano vari, ciascuno è ben equilibrato. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Nous avons super bien mangé, les puccia étaient exquises, à refaire quand on reviendra sur Lecce !! Le serveur était poli, agréable pour la clientèle
