This was our most expensive meal in 18 days in Italy, and we didn’t have wine. 117 euros for two people. It was tasty but not THAT great. Dish of shellfish was 22 euros. Eggplant parm, fish of day., side salad. We don’t know cost of all items (water, bread, one desert, coffee) because itemized bill was never provided, woman rang up at cash. We should have asked for bill. Maybe more expensive because location at beach. Wish we had waited till Otranto for lunch.

Beautiful spot on the beach. Pricey but good food and drinks. Friendly service. Beach loungers available for rent. Indoor and outdoor dining.

This is a beachfront restaurant, great because they also have hammocks. We had superb service (we were there in early October), and there weren't many people there. The fish was fresh and everything was delicious.

The location is beautiful, and the beauty of the sea is complemented by the professionalism of the service, which, unfortunately, is often lacking in the area... The beach is wide, clean, and supervised, pets are welcome, the bar and restaurant service is high-quality with very fair prices for the offerings, and the extended opening hours (until October 19th) will allow us to enjoy these beautiful days even more!! 03/06/2025: It was a spectacular and relaxing experience. The owners Graziano and Caterina are special people who with their friendliness make the holiday even more pleasant even if it is only a few days. The SPA is spectacular, relaxing and individual, there are expert people who make you relax with their messages. In particular the owner who with her friendliness and professionalism as a complete beautician makes even short holidays super pleasant. THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤️.

04/09/2025: Great place for holiday shopping. Very wide range, helpful staff and you can get a Puccia + drink at the bar (which is more of a bistro) for €6, which is an irresistible offer.
02/09/2025: Roberto's comment is completely out of place.... Are you normal? Exorbitant prices??!?! Where? You're at the seaside in Salento. The prices are much lower than any market in Bologna. If you come from Egypt and the prices seem high, that's your problem..... A tenner consumed at the bar is charged as if it were bought in the store. The store is stocked with everything you need. If this bar/market was missing, I would give Torre San Giovanni 3 stars. Great. Fresh vegetables, fruit, cold cuts, sandwiches, beers and spirits of all kinds. What more do you want at the seaside???? But look at the price of a beach umbrella sold by them....10 euros. The service is highly considered!!!!!! You feel at home!!!!!!
