Krebsbach In Lana

We ate there today on our bike tour. You can sit inside or on one of the two terraces. The food was delicious; I had the trout-filled ravioli and my wife had the Schlutzkrapfen. There's a trout pond at the restaurant where you can fish.

Definitely highly recommended, very tasty food, friendly service, we would be happy to come back.

Rating within the category... The Krebsbach lies alone on the edge of the orchards and in front of the mountain slope, next to a small stream. Picturesque and quiet. There are no buses or mass tourism here. It's mostly hikers and cyclists, but also a few drivers who want to rest and eat well. The on-site fish farm offers trout, especially, but also other fish. Meat and vegetarian options are also available. Vegans are somewhat put off by the fresh fish that's supposed to be served. The food on offer is fresh and deliciously prepared, and the value for money is good, and the beer and wine aren't overpriced. A visit is worthwhile.

For about 40 years... this restaurant has been a must-visit on every visit to Lana. If you like fish, this is definitely the place to be.

Very good fish dishes. Friendly service and great atmosphere. Good price-performance ratio. Ate there three times during a 10 day vacation. Always perfect. We'd love to come back on our next vacation.

From Schlutzkrapfen to hearty meat dishes to vegetarian and gluten-free options – every palate will find something to suit their taste here.   Ambiance and hospitality The cozy living room and the spacious covered terrace with a view of the fishing pond invite you to linger. The friendly and attentive staff ensures that guests feel completely comfortable. The family atmosphere is particularly appreciated, which makes many visitors return again and again.   Conclusion The Krebsbach restaurant is a must for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic South Tyrolean cuisine in a relaxed environment. The combination of fresh ingredients, loving preparation and warm hospitality makes every visit a special experience. 

The taste was very good, but the trout was a bit too small. I'll go back anyway.
